1 bedroomed apartment close to harbour and beach

Paradise Gardens IV (which has recently won an International 4 star award for best Cypriot development) is located in a quiet residential area on the very edge of all that Kato Paphos has to offer. Within easy walking distance of the beach, harbour, bars and restaurants, this complex is unique in its private location and intimate layout. This peaceful setting is ideal for getting away from it all and having a relaxing holiday, the perfect location to just lay back and recharge your batteries. The apartment is part of a small intimate complex set in beautifully landscaped gardens, with two swimming pools, this is truly paradise. Air conditioning is included in the price. I feel I have included everything you could possibly need to make it a comfortable stay.

A bus runs from the bus stop at the top of the complex to Debenhams (near the harbour) every 30 mins at 20 to and 10 past the hour. From 08.40 to 18.00 ish in the winter and 23.00 ish in the summer 1 Euro 50 cents for a single journey.

This immaculate first floor, airconditioned apartment will accommodate 2 people. It has a fully fitted kitchen, lounge with two settee's and dining area with table and chairs, fully tiled bathroom and double bedroom. All windows have fly screens fitted. The lounge leads directly onto a very private tree shaded balcony, providing welcome respite from the sun, a cool oasis in the heat of the day and the perfect place for those pre-dinner cocktails and Al Fresco eating.

There are Ceiling fans in the living room, dining room and Bedroom. There are 2 air conditioning units one in the living area & one in the bedroom for the hotter months when the fans are not enough.

For the winter months there are wall mounted radiators in the living area and bedroom. Also carpets and throws.

This small residential resort complex is a mix of maisonettes and 4 apartment blocks. The apartment has a lovely pool view, although it is far enough away to ensure your privacy, and overlooks landscaped gardens and trees.

There is a caretaker week days located in the small office by the pool who can help with problems regarding the complex. Also the apartment manager lives onsite and is always happy to help with problems with the apartment. A small Mini-Market, suitable for all your immediate needs is located on the corner of the access road to the complex (about 50m), there is also a taverna/takeaway next door Pambis diner which judging from recent improvements is doing well!!

Larger supermarkets are about a 5 minute drive. Apart from the Pambis the nearest restaurant The Apomero (which serves probably the best Meze in Kato Paphos) is a 10 minute stroll away with local pubs, tavernas and restaurants and bar street a further 5 minutes beyond in the main social area of Kato Paphos. The harbour and beach are a 20 minute stroll from the apartment.or catch the bus from the entrance of the complex every 30 mins. In short you have the best of both worlds, a quiet peaceful location to relax in, with all the nightlife you could wish for only a few minutes away

This is a unique complex very private and quiet, set back from the main road. Yet only a short walk from the hub of Paphos centre and harbour.

I am English was born in Beverley East Yorkshire and am in my early 50's.

I currently live in Paphos Cyprus.

I am married with 2 grown up children and 2 beautiful granddaughters.

Mrs Lynn Yeomans purchased this apartment in 2004

I bought this property off plan in 2004 and it was ready to move in October 2005.

I chose it because it is so different to the other complexes in Paphos. It is not set in the usual circle around a pool and from what I have seen quite unique in its design. One long row of properties all South facing over trees and fields making it feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, yet within a few minutes walk you are in the heart of Kato Paphos with its restaurants, bars, tavernas, beaches and harbour. I have a lovely view of the pool without being on top of it which makes it very private.

I have made the apartment a home from home so it doesn't give the soul less feeling you get when you walk into the majority of holiday homes.

Being able to sit on the balcony even in the middle of the day in summer because of the lovely shade provided by the trees. The sun can be fierce in July and August and unpleasant to sit outside and have a leisurely lunch without shade. So it is a real bonus.

It is so private I regularily have my breakfast sat on my balcony in my Pyjamas! It is lovely to sit with a cup of tea first thing in the morning and listen to the birds sing in the trees and the donkeys braying in the field nearby.

But walk outside the front door and within 2 minutes you are at the local mini market or the Pambis diner (local taverna).

Also the bus stop is at the top of the complex which takes you to the harbour. Or take a gentle 20 minute stroll to the harbour with no hills!!

The choice of two pools one with full sun the other (closest to me) with some welcome shade.

Having my manager live in the same complex so she is around to offer help and advice.

I live close by so can be contacted for problems.

CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE APPARTMENT

We had a very relaxing stay, lovely and peaceful. The apartment met all our needs and was very clean and comfortable. The pool was very nicely situated in lovely surroundings, plenty big enough to swim and very clean. All in all we would not hesitate to go back to in the future.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY !

My wife and I stayed here for 12 days in May and we would certainly recommend it. The apartment is very well equipped and has everything you need and is very much a home from home. It is also very clean and well maintained.The pool is great and a good size and was not busy at all when we were there.

It is only a 15min walk to the front, but if you prefer there is a bus stop at the end of the road providing a frequent service into the town centre.

The owner, Lynn , was very helpful with information about places to eat and things to see and there is also a lot of very useful information for guests in various folders in the apartment. In addittion, the booking process with Lynn was very easy and straightforward.

When we next visit Cyprus, we do hope to stay here again !

COMFORTABLE, QUIET WELL EQUIPTED APARTMENT.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this apartment. It was clean well equipted and comfortable with every thing supplied and needed for our entire holiday, with no hidden extras or costs. Lynn and Granville the owners made booking easy and efficient , information re: trips out and local recommended restaurants were e.mailed before we arrived. A short walk from the harbour and sea front with a variety of bars and restaurants to choose from and a short drive to nearby beach's made it a very enjoyable holiday. On looking around at alternative properties we found Lynn's apartment to be very competitively priced and would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family.

EXCELLENT HOLIDAY APARTMENT IN PAHOS

Lynn - thanks very much, we had a great time and really enjoyed our stay here!

OK - Review - we're a couple, we wanted a week away in April, somewhere warm and relaxing - I trawled the internet and came up with this apartment. The reviews I read were very good so I made an enquiry.

At this point came the best bit for me - the communications with Lynn were excellent, she even called us at home in the UK to make sure we were ok with flights and dates etc. (she even arranged a taxi company to pick us up at the airport and take us to the apartment - I recommend it for you too!)

Right, the apartment, normally, you read descriptions and take a little with a pinch of salt - but it is exactly as described.

A very spacious 1 bedroom hoiday apartment, with everything you can think of. It was spotlessly clean, new sheets, towels, bedding etc and lots of it.

There was aircon if it got too hot and heating if it got too cold. A cooker I would be happy to have at home, washer, fridge-freezer, all the kitchen utensils you needed.

The bed was very comfy - we had no problem falling asleep at night anyway - lovely balconly to sit out on and the use of a shared pool - of which we saw 3 other people use in the week we were there.

If you really wanted TV - a very modern TV - a multitude of DVDs, state of the air radio/ipod/iphone player - books a small library would be happy to have - games, dominoes, cards etc

The location itself is 20 minutes walk from everything - Paphos Harbour, Papos old town, the brand new Shopping Mall. But it is also on the 603 bus route - we used to walk to the harbour or old town and catch the bus back

I could go on and on about where to go, what to do, how to get there etc - but its all in the apartment, maps, guides, recommend places to visit/eat/drink.

In summary, the apartment is as described - it was spotlesly clean, and is within well maintained grounds.

It is both far enough, and near enough to all things in Paphos. Theres a good supermarket in the harbour area - but theres two kiosks (mini markets) out on the main road - we used the farmers market, mainly for the veg which is grown in the field you overlook!

How could it be improved? If I was picky, iternet - but only because we're used to it at home. If you want free wifi, walk 30 yds to Pambis - have a cold beer or coffee and catch up on emails etc.

All in all a lovely place and we would happily come back again and again.

With regard to wifi I have considered it but to be honest the majority of my guests are happy with the free wifi at Pambi's diner. It also allows me to keep my prices competitive.
This doesn't mean I won't consider it in the future if demand for wifi increases.

THE APARTMENT WAS EVERYTHING THE OWNER PROMISED AND MORE, IT WAS EXCEPTIONAL. SPOTTLESSY CLEAN, VERY WELL EQUIPTED AND THE OUTSIDE AREAS WERE BEAUTIFULLY MAINTAINED . THE OWNER MADE BOOKING QUICK AND EASY EVEN ARRANGING TRANSFERS AND HER MANAGER WAS ON HAND FOR ANY QUERIES. THE LOCATION WAS GOOD AS YOU ARE ONLY 10-15 MINS FROM THE TOURIST AREA AND THE HARBOUR. THE OWNER LEFT RECCOMANDATIONS FOR TRIPS, WALKS AND RESTARAUNTS ( EVEN PROVIDING MAPS) ALL EXCELLENT. PERSONALLY WE RECOMMAND[ PAMBIS THE FOOD IS EXCELLENTAND RESONABLLY PRICED THE STAFF WERE HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY, THEY SERVE EVERYTHING FROM TRADITIONAL CYPRIOT DISHES TO AN ENGLISH BREAKFAST. THIS APARTMENT IS TRUELY A HOME FROME HOME WITH LITTLE TOUCHES LIKE DVD,S CDS AND BOOKS.I WOULD RECOMMEND IT WITH-OUT A DOUBT. THE ONLY THING I DID,NT LIKE WAS HAVING TO LEAVE

PARADISE IN PARADISE

This apartment was every thing that you could wish for, it was of very high spec, very well maintained, clean comfortable and had every thing you could possibly want. Lynn the owner was so helpful on actual booking, taxi from airport and lots of information on eateries and places of interest. A 20 min flat walk takes you to Paphos harbour where you can sit and enjoy the surroundings over a glass of wine or a lovely meal. A visit to the mosaics and Tomb Of The Kings is a must, from there you can walk the sea walk for miles. There are so many choices of restaurants but Pambis just outside the complex is very good food, huge portions and reasonably priced plus every one is so friendly. Our stay here was very relaxing and we would certainly recommend it to everyone.

Paphos simply has too much on offer to list. This world heritage site has everything for the culture vulture, the sun lover and everyone in-between. At the harbour there are the house of dionysus mosiacs and a little further on the catacombs and the tomb of the kings. A full range of watersports are available locally, from sub-aqua to those 'traditional' white knuckle water rides. Boat trips depart from the harbour area on a regular basis, exploring the local coastline inc fishing and glass bottom boat trips

The Troodos Mountains and Akamas peninsula are only a short drive away (about an hour), perfect for those interested in trekking, walking or just touring in the car. Of course, in the winter months ski-ing is also possible in Troodos with 4 Ski lifts and several cafes/restaurants at Mount Olympus

Also Polis and Latchi with it's picturesque harbour and wonderful seafood restaurants,and the baths of Aphrodite.

The rock of Aphrodite and Kourion site are also well worth a visit.
