In the apartment 'Panoramic View' on the first floor (classification '4 Stars DTV' German Tourist Association), there is a separate living-room with sofas, satellite-TV, stereo unit with CD-player, cassette tape recorder and radio, high-speed Internet access DSL 2000 via WLAN (WIFI) / router, two single wall-beds/Murphy beds, a separate bedroom with a double bed and space for a cot/crib, a separate kitchen (a completely furnished kitchen with 4-ring-stove, oven, extractor hood, fridge/freezer, coffee-machine, toaster, electric kettle, radio etc.), microwave on request, a dining place, hallway, bathroom with bathtub, shower, WC and a nice balcony with a panoramic view (see photograph of the guesthouse, upper balcony). The large sun-terrace of the guesthouse with a splendid panoramic view is only a few steps away.

  • In the first week, we charge an additional flat rate of Euro 65,00 for water, current, heating, trash collection, 1 x bed linen per person and final cleaning of the apartment. That flat rate is valid for a stay of up to two weeks. A new flat rate of Euro 30,00 per week for water, current, heating and trash collection will be charged from the third week. Special tariffs for long-term vacations. All prices plus visitors' tax. Maximum four persons. For the 5th person, we charge € 6,00 / child up to 10 years old resp. € 10,00 plus visitors' tax / adult per night. Extra charge for the use of the Internet access. Dog: Euro 2,50 per night. Baby-bed and high-chair free of charge.
  • The City of Gengenbach will charge a visitors' tax per day/person over the age of 16 to be paid cash in Euro upon arrival. (Please ask for current tariffs). You will then receive the Schwarzwald-Gaestekarte (Black Forest Guest-Card) with 'KONUS'. That card provides VARIOUS SPECIAL RATES AND DISCOUNTS, e.g. in case of admission charges, in Gengenbach and in the Black Forest area, FREE ADMISSION to the open-air swimming pools in Gengenbach (in summer), REDUCED PRICES for events, museums, bicycle rental, miniature golf, guided hiking tours (partly free of charge) etc.
    As a SPECIAL DISCOUNT, you will receive a FREE TICKET for trains and buses belonging to the 'KONUS'-system in the Black Forest.
    EXPLORE THE BLACK FOREST BY TRAIN OR BUS FREE OF CHARGE DURING YOUR STAY AT HAUS WUSSLER! (Unfortunately, you will have to pay for your dog.) The 'KONUS' trains and buses will also take you to the French or even Swiss border free of charge!

Our family of 3 stayed at this apartment in late August/early September 2008 for two weeks. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in a relaxing and attractive part of the Black Forest. The weather was great and there was plenty to see and do in the local area. The holiday was also significantly better value for money than staying in the UK. Our host were very hospitable, and we look forward to returning again in 2009.
