This is a top floor flat in a beautifully restored Victorian building located in one of San Francisco's most desirable neighborhoods. Nestled among several Victorian mansions and butting up to the luscious Buena Vista Park, this location is within walking distance of the famous Haight/Ashbury District. The eat in kitchen opens up into the spacious living room which is surrounded by large windows. A sliding glass door opens to a private deck which offers incredible views of the SF city skyline and east bay landscape. The Master bedroom comes complete with fireplace with hardwood floors throughout the entire home. Laundry, and parking make this a rare, luxurious and comfortable find and is an economically sensible alternative to San Francisco hotels. Public transportation outlets, which can take you to The Embarcadero, Fishermen's Wharf, the ballpark or The Marina within minutes, are also nearby.

Beatiful Luxury Flat: We have spectacular views and very eligant accomidations. We sleep 7 and have a eat in kithcen. Public Transportation is not very far and you are in the middle of the city.

Brillliant location with every amenity you could wish for. Stunning views over the city with relatively easy access to public transport - bus stop at the bottom of the hill taking you to the centre of town (sometimes cabbies needed a bit of guidance!). Apartment suitable for 4 adults (2 from UK, 2 from NZ). The UK contingent hope to return sometime.

Overbooked, construction and no reply

We arrived to start our stay Friday evening 14th August 2009 but the apartment was over booked so we were put up in a nice hotel but it cost us another day off our vacation as we had to wait around to book in and out of the hotel and go to the apartment. When we got there there is a complete gut & renovation going on next door.The entire house is demolished, exterior plywood and garbage shoots out on to the sidewalk. An industrial trailered compresor and 20 yard industrial demolition trailer was parked outside our front window for the entire week and from 7.30am to 4.00pm ran constantly at around 120 Decibels, the construction is very noisy and the workers expect it to continue through spring/summer 2010., no chance of a sleepy lie in bed in this apartment after 7.30am, the permit says 8.00am but they start at 7.30am.
I think I left behind my car keys when I vacated the apartment and called Bill but have not received a call back with an answer if he found them or not.

Apartment is very nice, clean, certainly not Luxury as the advert says. Parking is limited, very, you must move your car every two hours or get a ticket, which means during the day it is a pain to go away by foot.

If you can get 7 people to stay in this apartment and enjoy their stay good luck, one bathroom, work it out.

Clean, comfortable, for 3 or 4 we should have been told about the construction, the over booking is not acceptable, the neighbors were power washing the siding & deck and painting so the smell of exterior paint was all around.

Sorry Bill, but this is how is at you place right now and people should know before they pay good money to go.

We made the best of it and enjoyed our stay, but if a family had been there with Kids or a couple for a romantic getaway they would have been disapointted not to be told about the construction and parking limitations.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It was spacious, clean and had a wonderful view from the lounge and balcony. The street is residential and quiet. Buena Vista park is at the top of the street (up a steep climb!) and provides fantastic views over the city. The local gourmet grocery is great for food and coffee. There are bus stops and a metro stop close by.

We had an amazing stay at this flat -- it has an ideal location (close to lots of restaurants, bars, and shops), all the amenities we wanted, and (best of all) a deck with an absolutely amazing view of SF. Melissa was also great. She's informative, prompt and friendly. It's a bit hilly around the immediate area, but most of SF is, so unless hills are a major issue -- you just can't go wrong with this flat.
