Our 'Disney Antigua' villa is one of the closest villas to the Resort/Pool complex at the exclusive, four-star Regal Palms Resort and Spa. It is located within walking distance of the main clubhouse. Our Florida Vacation Home provides 1300 sq ft of living space, 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths. Regal Palms offers a 2 1/2 acre tropical pool complex with 2 heated pools, lazy river, waterfall, waterslide, jacuzzi, a central island, extensive sun decks, a pool-side tiki bar, and a kid's play area. Two weeks stay at Regal Palms, Orlando

The location of Regal Palms was very good, with easy access to the Parks, International Drive and shopping malls. The road network in the vicinity of Regal Palms is excellent. There were plenty of golf courses in the surrounding area for my husband and friends. The 3 bedroom villa which we occupied during our stay, was well set out and well equipped. Although there was very little outside space at the rear of the property and the neighbouring properties to the rear, were quite close, it was quite quiet at the time of our stay in April, so this did not pose a great problem.

The negative aspects of the Regal Palms site were the excessive prices for basics in the onsite shop, the cost of internet access, which was only available by the complete hour, and the fact that when we went for a drink at the resort bar,early on in our stay, we were advised that we could not purchase any other drinks as the bar was about to close at 10.15pm!

I also objected to paying over $150 for the use of the pool facilities at the resort as we had little intention of using it and our friends, who also stayed at Regal Palms, were not required to pay for the duration of their stay.

The villa was very clean and well maintained and if anything needed to be repaired or replaced, someone came out to deal with it very promptly, including replacement of the batteries in the TV remote control!

On the whole, the site was very good and our stay there was enjoyable.
