Bedroom 1 has an extra large kingsize bed and private balcony. Bedroom 2 with 3 single beds. The fully equipped kitchen includes a built in oven and hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridgefreezer and oven, all cooking utensils and crockery for 5 persons, iron and ironing board and washing machine. We have tried to make our apartment as suitable as possible for children. It is on the ground floor. It has a bath mat, plastic cutlery and plates and cups, a few toys, a DVD so you can bring your own movies, and a travel cot and booster seat are available free of charge. Cot linen is not provided. Large outdoor adults pool with sun bathing terrace and loungers. Childrens outdoor pool. Jacuzzi massage pool. Gymnasium. 24hr security and reception. Ornate gardens (with banana and palm trees). Childrens play area.
Altinkum is also know as Didim, famous for its soft fine sandy beaches, as well as rich in history with the Appollo Temple Ruins just on the outskirts of the resort.
Altinkum lies on the Aegean Coast, with flights to Bodrum (1.5 hours) and Izmir (1 hour 45 minutes). Airport transfers can be arranged. The resort itself is full of restaurants, shops and little boutiques, as well as various agenices providing tours to different historic events, such as Pamukae and Ephesus. There is a new water park (10 minutes ride outside the resort on a dolmush). It has a host of pools slides, wave machines catering for all the family. There are resort dolmushes (mini buss) that pass by the complex every few minutes, and take you around the resort for around 40p. There is the old town, with many fine traditional good value Turkish restuarants, serving a huge selection of Turkish cuisine, as well as little streets full of various shops.
