Queens Vacation Rental

This spacious “Artist Studio” is a two story, fully equipped house. The first floor is an 18' x 32' kitchen and studio area; the bath is 6'x 10'. 2nd floor has a 1/2 bath and 2 bedrooms, one with Queen size bed the other a double bed and a twin bed. The house is built on pilings over Jamaica Bay, within an intimate colony of homes accessible by a 300-foot boardwalk over the tidal marshlands. Within a five minute walk there is a nice park with handball and tennis courts. In addition, there is also a fishing station where boats with motors can be rented. Within a 10 minute walk there is the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge. There have been 325 species of birds recorded at the Refuge through 1994. Egrets, Night Heron, Oyster Catchers, Loons, Bittern, Glossy Ibis, Snow Geese and Plover are just a few you will see, at the Refuge.
