The property is self catering, very private and is set high on a rolling hillside so the views all around are magnificent. The Pool House is a lovely tastefully furnished and decorated 3 Bedroom detached Swiss style bungalow set in 6 acres of land (only shared with the another house approx 100 yds away) Being a bungalow The Pool House lends its self very well to people who are mildly disabled and can't climb stairs but there is the front door step and there are two steps going down to the bathroom and two of the bedrooms.

( 18 holes of your choice from 27 available ). At Avrille. 18 holes. At Bauge. 18 holes and the excellent riding stables/school 'La Landelle' (20 minutes). A similar distance to the north is Durtal, set on the River Loir, with its imposing chateau and a choice of good cafes and restaurants. Here are a few activities you can check out: Saumur is home to the Cadre Noir, the École nationale d'équitation (National equestrian school), known for its annual horse shows, as well as the officer school for armored forces (tanks). Our nearest village is Jarze, a fifteen minute walk away. Although this is large accommodations please contact us if you are a couple as we are happy to adjust the rates for you or can offer you other accommodation. 2. The terms and conditions state that £150 refundable security deposit must be paid against damages and is added to the final balance which is required 9 weeks prior to the start of the holiday. To reserve your accommodation 35% of the accommodation cost is required if booking earlier than 9 weeks prior to the start date of the holiday. 3. Bed linen and Towels can be booked at £35.00 per bed this is of course optional as duvets and pillows provided. 4. End of stay cleaning or midweek can be booked please ask for details and book this at the time of confirmation of your holiday.

The three double bedrooms are set out as follows 2 bedrooms have double beds and the 3rd has twin beds bringing the total accommodation capacity to 6 - besides the bedrooms there is a lovely L shaped lounge kitchen dining room the kitchen has the usual modern appliances etc. There is a fence directly outside the front door ideal for keeping toddlers in as you cook on the barbecue, There are also electric gates when entering the property - in the front garden area is a BBQ with table and chairs so in the evening you can relax sip wine and let the sun go down, whilst enjoying the lovely French country side. The Pool House is completely surrounded by the rolling countryside of the Loire Valley where you can find plenty of wildlife. The Swimming pool, Jacuzzi, and hot tub, solar shower there are swings, table tennis table, board games an ideal setting for yourselves and your children with lovely accommodation for your holiday in France.

You will enjoy the peace and privacy once you enter the private grounds, along with the security that the children can run around the huge gardens and play.

Thank you, this holiday lived up to the description. This truley was a fantastic holiday.

The Property ticked all the boxes for us.
The views were exceptional and we enjoyed nights of French Wine and BBQs.

The Pool was great with Jacuzzi, cleaned regularly and the house itself was clean on arrival.

We would definitely use this property again in the future.

A beautiful and peaceful location...pool and jacuzzi private with plenty of space to soak up the sun and a great view over the Loire Valley. The house itself is well equipped and nice and cool even on hot days. Rooms are nice and spacious providing the opportunity to relax indoors too. All the ingredients for a thoroughly relaxing break - highly recommended!

The Pool House

The description of the property and location was very accurate and clear details were given of how to get there and access the house. The house was very clean and well maintained, with all necessary facilities available regarding cooking and crockery. It is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The grounds surrounding the house are also well maintained with swings, badminton and table tennis available. The pool was clean and plenty of sunbeds available. The house is situated about a mile away from a small village where a lovely bakers, butchers, small supermarket and pharmacy are located. The nearest supermarket is only 10mins away by car. The location is idyllic and perfect for a totally relaxing holiday. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area but it would be useful to have use of a car to access the local towns and attractions. We had a perfect holiday and I would have no hesitaiton in recommending this property to anyone.
