Photos and Description of the Playa del Cura vacation apartment rental 1 Bedroom, 1 bathroom, 2/3 adults or 2 adults/2 children under 12

The apartment is on the top floor - 5th floor (the building has 2 lifts), overlooks the swimming pool, and is equipped with air conditioning/heating. The bedroom has 2 single beds. There is a bed/settee in the living area which converts to a double bed. We have recently redecorated, and the bed/settee and easy chair are new so there is seating for 4 people. There is a dining table, with seating again for 4 people. The kitchen has hob, microwave/grill, washing machine and is fully equipped with cutlery crockery, pans etc. It is NOT essential to have a car. The apartment is in a quieter area of Torrevieja, and is only 2 blocks away from the beach - about a five minute walk. There is a bus stop directly opposite the apartment - the bus going to La Mata. It is only a very short walk to the bus stop for the bus going into Torrevieja town, although the town centre is only a 10 minute walk away.

Nearest Airport: Alicante/Murcia at 60 Kilometres
Nearest Beach: beach at 200.0 Metres

Torrevieja is approximately 40 minutes drive from Alicante and from Murcia airports. The apartment is situated in a more Spanish part of the town, but it is only a 10 minute walk to some English bars and restaurants. Our apartment is nearest to Playa del Cura, which is the nearest beach approx 4/5 minutes walk. Playa los Locos is approx 10 minutes walk along the sea front. Both are 'Blue Flag' beaches and Playa del Cura beach is quite safe for children as the sea is shallow. Torrevieja Town Centre is approx 10-15minutes walk, but there is a bus which will take you into Town,(where there is a large market on a Friday) and to the Marina. The same bus going the other way, will take you to La Mata, which is a smaller town, and has a market on a Wednesday. One of our photos shows the sea front at Playa del Cura, where there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. The area is quite lively during the Summer months, but the apartment is away from the hustle and bustle and noise.

There is seating and dining for 4 people There is Cable TV with English TV Channels - THIS IS NOW FULLY OPERATIONAL AGAIN. The kitchen is fully equipped, and has Hob, Microwave/Grill, Fridge/Freezer, Washing Machine, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery, pans. All linen and towels are provided, but we ask that you take your own Beach Towels. There are some beach 'toys', 2 beach chairs and a beach umberella. There is an outdoor swimming pool which is located in the centre of the apartment block, and is open during the Summer months. This is more a swimming pool than a sunbathing area, but is well used and a good size. A pick up from either Alicante or Murcia airport can be arranged at the extra cost of 40 euros each way, payable to the driver. During July and August, parking is very restricted around the apartment.

Notes: There is parking only outside the apartment block. In the summer months, when Torrevieja is busy, parking spaces can be very difficult to find. Although there is no telephone or internet in the apartment, across the road, on the way to the beach there is a very well equipped Internet Cafe, which seems to be open very long hours.

We stayed in this apartment for 10 days in June/July, it is a brilliant apartment with everything you need for a wonderful holiday. Minutes from the beach and there is a large supermarket under the apartments which is really handy. The pool was really good, hardly anyone uses this and we had the pool to ourselves most days, it closes for 2 hours on an afternoon.
Would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a beach holiday.

I have been to this apartment on a number of occasions and simply can not fault it. It is home from home. Everything that I have ever needed is provided, from satellite tv to a washing line. Even the local supermarket, open all day, is on the Ground Floor next door. You will rarely see anyone else in the building hence it is very peaceful, especially at night. If you do see anyone they are always very friendly as everyone in Torrevieja seems to be. I have visited with my children and I have visited on my own. It is simply marvellous. Can't wait for my next visit.

good budget acomodation

Just spent 2 weeks there, the flat is well situated, A/C, and brings you what is needed to spend a good holiday. The swimming pool is very clean, but closed 2 hours in the afternoon.
For the price, i recomend.
