New luxury detached villa with large 10 x 5m private swimming pool. Three double bedrooms all with fitted wardrobes, and two with private ensuite. All bedrooms are fully air-conditioned. Lounge/Dining Area with Satellite TV, DVD player & is air-conditioned. Modern kitchen with Zannusi & Whirlpool appliances. Large secluded garden providing ample areas for sunbathing, leisure & outside dining. There are two outside terraces, one covered at ground floor level & second at first floor level providing scenic views of the local area with more space for dining/sunbathing. The Villa is located in the private residential area known as Monte y Mar which is a community consisting mainly of Spanish & English nationalities. Gran Alacant a costal town within 10 minutes drive from Alicante Airport or 50 minutes from Murcia providing you with greater flexibility on flights. Gran Alacant has its own Commercial Centre & abundance of shops, restaurants & supermarkets catering for all nationalities. With miles of unspoilt blue flag sandy beaches incl beach bars, sun loungers for hire & lifeguard watch in peak season. The town has its own local market on a Thursday. The town also incorporates its own nature reserve. Gran Alacant provides adequate facilities for those not wishing to leave the immediate area. However a 5 min drive will bring you to the fishing town of Santa Pola with excellent fish restaurants, markets & salt flats & for those with children Mc Donalds! Alicante with its vibrant port, shops, restaurants, tourist attractions & night clubs again just a 10 min drive. Attractions such as Terra Mitica Theme Park, Aqualandia Water Park and Rio Safari are all less than a 40 min drive away

  • 30% of the total holiday cost is to be paid as a non refundable deposit and is payable at the time of reservation. with the balance due to be paid no later than 6 weeks prior to your departure date.
  • A refundable deposit of 150.00 pounds is to be paid with the final instalment and will be refunded within 10 days of your return date subject to your departure check of the property.

The villa: The Villa was newly constructed in 2006.

Out and about: A car is not a necessity as bars, banks, beaches and supermarkets are all within walking distance (e.g. beach 20minutes, supermarket 10minutes walk) and there is a bus service providing the town to most of the neighbouring locations. From experience to truly make the most of your holiday we recommend car rental for total freedom and flexibility. Car Hire is either available at the airport or from many rental companies in the town itself.

Gran Alacant: Gran Alacant having undergone major expansion to cater for holiday makers and ex-pats over the past ten years is still rapidly expanding to provide further communities and facilities. As such throughout the town there are a number of construction projects and areas that are rapidly expanding. The urbanisation where the villa is located approx 1/2km away further houses and apartments are being constructed

We spent a week in this fantastic villa.
I strongly recommend this villa as it has everything you need. The shops and restaurants are all close to hand or you can just laze around the pool. Car hire is not accentual but I would recommend one. Contact the owner and he will forward you on the names. The owner's representatives in Spain are fantastic and will deal with any problems.
Enjoy your stay at this fantastic Villa.

Great family villa

Have just booked to go back for the third time! The villa is modern, clean and spacious. The pool is larger than most and sits in a well maintained and attractive garden.
Stewart, the owner, is very helpful as are the local agents Richard and Claire. Really can't fault the villa and would strongly recommend it to anyone, particularly those with children as the villa is both secure and secluded.

This is one of the nicest villa's we have stayed at.
Thank goodness for the larger than most pool, that was used daily as the temp hit 43.
Shops were only a 15 min walk, it did take us longer some days because of the heat and dont do what we did,dont walk to beach , its too far. There is a local bus, find out about the times and pick ups. I would strongly recommend it.
Only down side of the villa was there was not one full length mirror.

Fantastic but you have to like walking

This Villa is all it is made out to be, we had a fantastic time.

Stuart was always polite and provided great customer service during the booking. I would recommend this Villa as a good family base.

You do have to like walking, if like me you don't want to drive, as the supermarkets and beach are a good 30mins walk and by the end of 2 weeks it seems to get further and further away.

Not much to do in the local area and the trips can be quite expensive, but we made the most of good local transport to nearby towns.

Taxis are quite good if you can manage to get one to find the Villa, ours from the airport got lost and the return taxis couldn't find it.

I did think the 60 euros for a linen change was a bit steep but did have a great time at a great villa.

We found the villa to have been finished to the highest standard, large private garden area with private pool. Short walking distance to local shops and amenities. Highly recommended.
We would definately go again.
