About Robbi Peirce

Originally from Florida my husband and I spend as much time in North Carolina as our schedule permits! With four children, we are constantly on the move enjoying all outdoor activities - especially water-related! Rafting is a favorite for all of us and we go so frequently that we finally bought our own raft!

Robbi Peirce purchased this cabin in 2005

Why Robbi Peirce chose Robbinsville

We have been coming to the mountains of North Georgia and Western Carolina since I was in High School and vowed one day to have a place of our own! We have enjoyed all of the local bluegrass hoe downs, Stecoah Valley Center performances, mountain fairs and celebrations and especially the friendly people of North Carolina! The pristine weather keeps us coming back for summer fun, the beautiful fall seasonal change and sometimes snow in the winter!

What makes this cabin unique

Enjoying an early cup of coffee on our deck while watching the Hummingbirds feed is the perfect way to start off the day! We love looking at the distant mountains, watching the sunset and listening to all of the mountain sounds! We spend lots of time at Lake Fontana with our 3 boys visiting waterfalls, rock jumping, tubing, picnicing and camping. White water rafting is a must just 20 minutes away!

Great cabin for a getaway

  • 5 of 5

Every year, we plan a trip to Zdayz (car rally). We shopped around for a cabin that was spacious, localized to sites and offered us the privacy when we wanted to getaway from it all. This cabin offered that and much more. The owner was very responsive to all our needs and accommodating as well. It offered great views, amenities and for the price, you really can't beat it. We will be looking to book here again next year!

Lots of fun activities for the family all within a short 30 minute drive! We are delighted you will be returning in the future!

Clean, comfortable, quiet cabin

  • 5 of 5

You are almost at the top of the neighborhood. The drive up was not too bad. Very clean inside and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook whatever I wanted. Didn't have a single issue except the fact that We had to leave and come back to Florida. The wrap around porch is great and the view is even better. I would come back here in a heartbeat.

Beautiful cabin for a relaxing vacation

  • 5 of 5

My wife, mother and I stayed in this cabin for the week of thanksgiving to have a relaxing getaway and we were certainly not disappointed. The rooms are all spacious and beautifully adorned with lots of wood. The view from the balcony was breath taking, and the kitchen was a joy to use.

We'd absolutely recommend it to anyone!

Owner's Response: We all love to "get away from it all"! The views and quiet atmosphere at our cabin are what most of our guests cherish, yet we are just 20 minutes away from many of the greatest outdoor activities that Graham County has to offer! We hope your holiday plans will bring you to Robbinsville again in the future!

Awesome cabin

  • 5 of 5

What an awesome cabin! Everything was perfect. Plenty of room. More pans and dishes than you could ever cook with. The views from the deck were beautiful and we had snow the day before we had to go home. The road up to the cabin was a little steep but after you drove it a few times it wasn't a problem. The best part was spending time with family. We hated to have to leave. Made several trips to Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, Blue Ridge Parkway, Cherolahala Skyway, Fontana Dam, Brass Town Bald. The day it snowed we stayed at the cabin, watching movies, looking at the views, having a fire and hiking. Would highly recommend this cabin for anyone planning a trip to the mountains. It is a beautiful cabin. Robbie and Mark were a phone call away for any issues but we never had to call them.

Owner's Response: Perfect timing for an EARLY snow!!! We are glad you found the cabin to be the perfect retreat for your stay and that you were able to enjoy the plentiful outdoor adventures that the mountains have to offer! Even a day or two of inclement weather can be enjoyable just enjoying the mountain views with a warm fire. We hope you will visit again soon!

Amazing cabin! Definitely worth another visit!

  • 5 of 5

Great cabin, far better than the pictures could ever do justice! Quiet, very clean and amazing views from the deck!

My only advice to people who are considering this place is be prepared for the road (and I use the term loosely) leading to the cabin. We were towing a trailer with a motorbike in it, and a few times our front wheel drive SUV struggled for traction. Without the trailer we were fine.

Riding the motorbike to and from the cabin was a little interesting at times. I was very grateful to be on an Adventure Touring bike with ABS. I don't think I would be brave enough to attempt it with a Sportbike or Cruiser.

Don't get me wrong, this is not meant as a complaint, more of an FYI. We had a great time and have every intention on booking this cabin again next Fall!

Owner's Response: Thank you David for your kind review! As you mentioned, the views of the mountains and the ridge of the Appalachain Trail are worth the visit!!! We have many motorcycle guests at our cabin and if you are not used to riding in the mountains our road can be tricky. The road was paved last summer making it much easier for motorcycles! We do hope you will visit again and encourage you to share your experience with your friends. Thank you!

True Smoky Mountain experience!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful mountain views, plenty of hiking. We actually had a bear cross our path while hiking the Appalachian Trail. The cabin is everything they advertised it to be. I highly recommend it. And hope to return, in the near future.

Owner's Response: We are delighted you had an enjoyable experience at our cabin recently. We are very close to several entrances to the Appalachain Trail, the most famous hiking trail in the world, which is very convenient for hikers!
