Villa Yasemin, one of a pair of villas, has a large pool and is set in a private walled garden, backed by magnificent mountains and pine forests. The large shaded terrace provides a welcome retreat from the midday sun. As yet undiscovered by mass tourism, the area is stunning and has lost none of its charm and beauty. It is a 300m / 15 min stroll to the centre of Gocek with its pedestrian walkways, shops and restaurants. Many of these are by the water's edge, where you can sit and enjoy a quiet drink, watch the yachts moor up for the night and catch the sun going down over the mountains. The region has been declared a special environmental protection area. Although many locals earn most of their income from tourism, life in the villages and mountains continues much as it has done for centuries. This is an excellent place for sailing with a spectacular coastline reveals many small islands and undiscovered bays. The owners have a 40' yacht available for private skippered charter.

Flights, car hire and transfers can be arranged. Special requirements catered for.
    House linen and towels provided but guests should bring towels for pool use.

    Smoking is permitted on the balcony and terrace but not inside the villa. The villa is particularly suited to adults and families wishing to have a quiet and relaxing holiday.

  • Air conditioning is provided in the 4 bedrooms with a mosquito guard on one window in each. Each floor has one small double room and one larger bedroom with twin beds which can be put together to make a double. The twin bedded rooms are larger with more storage and hanging space. The beds are of luxury quality and white linen and towels are provided. A travel cot can be arranged and there is another double bedded room in the basement.

Villa Yasemin is one of a pair of identical villas. The other villa is kept primarily for the owners, but can also be made available - ideal for friends/ families holidaying together. The villas are separated by terraces and a large pool - 5.5m x 10.5m and 1,3 - 1.6m in depth. The spacious internal area of each of the ground and first floors (48sqm) provides a large open plan dining / kitchen / living area area with fireplace, one twin and one small double bedroom, shower room with WC. This self contained arrangement on each floor provides flexibility for a family or friends holidaying together. The large ground floor covered terrace area provides space for everyone to dine / relax together. Subject to availability, it is possible to rent one floor only as an apartment. There is a large area in the basement housing an extra large refrigerator, dishwasher,laundry facilities, an extra double bedroom and shower room A marble staircase connects each floor.

Fragrant white and blue jasmine, roses, honeysuckle, colourful shrubs and hedging together with lemon, orange trees and banana palms are to be found in an attractive walled garden. There are three major banks with exchange facilities as well as cash machines, several well stocked mini markets, and an excellent Sunday market with clothes, household items and all kinds of fresh local produce. The owners of the villa have a 40' yacht available for private skippered charter. Enjoy a hands on sailing experience or just relax! Provides the opportunity to see some of the surrounding islands and sheltered bays and to swim and snorkel in the turquoise blue sea. Available on a daily basis or combine 2 / 3 days / a week on the yacht with the rest of the time at the villa. Suitable for up to 4 people. Guest accommodation in 2 double cabins.

It is possible to enjoy a holiday without a car although many guests choose to hire one for a day or two to explore places off the beaten track.

we highlly recommend this beautifully maintained villa,away from the chaos of package holiday makers.It's very peaceful but also conveniently located for beaches and dining out in the evening.The owners are lovely people and amazingly helpful.It's a great idea to go out sailing with them around the islands,an unforgettable experience!
We have spent 2 wonderful holidays there and we definately plan to go back.

My wife and I spent a week with four friends at this beautiful villa and had a wonderful time.
The facilities are excellent, the property is very clean and well- maintained and we especially enjoyed the pool. The owner provided a very warm welcome and went out of her way to provide information and advice about the local area which enriched our stay.
The area around the villa is peaceful and only a short stroll away from the centre of Gocek and the marina. We had a great time exploring the local market and the many shops in the area.
We also enjoyed visiting the local restaurants where everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and very cheap. We can recommend The Natural restaurant and The Kebap Hospital!
We also took up the offer of a day's sailing on the owner's yacht and loved it!
We hope to return in the near future and can recommend this property to anyone who wants a peaceful, relaxing holiday!
