Tredozio Apartment Rental Photos and Description
4 bedroom apartment to sleep 8
Pride of place on our property is taken by La Collinaccia,Ground Floor, set atop our highest ridge. The sun rises over the Romagna Appennines to warm the pool and the shaded terrace and sets behind the Appennines of Toscana that stretch endlessly from the front of the house. There is not another building to interrupt either view except as distant specks on the far hillsides. The sunsets are spectacular and the special light at the end of the day will never be forgotten. The high position of the house affords a large variety of walks and ever changing types of scenery. You can relax on the terrace looking out at the endless 360 degrees view.
La Collinaccia, originally a shepherd’s house, is our latest remodelling. All modern comforts were built in during the restoration, including built in closets, ceiling fans and spacious bathrooms. We have used the finest local materials, terracotta flooring, chestnut beams from our own trees and decorative tiles from the famous town of Faenza.
The big villa has been discretely separated into two fully contained apartments – each over a full floor of the villa and with totally separate entrances at opposite sides of the villa. They share the big swimming pool and grounds, with separate outdoor dining areas and which are arranged to accommodate our guests in easy comfort.
The swimming pool, open from May 15 until the end September, (5x10mt; depth 1,20-1,90mt) is set in a rolling lawn adjoining the house. Car parking is out of sight.
The ground floor apartment boasts a large living room with a working feature fireplace and looks out to the north and the east. It is beautifully decorated with period furniture mixed with modern pieces and beautiful artifacts and art prints. Off the living room is a separate dining room which seats 8 persons and leads into a large, fully equipped kitchen.
Both the kitchen and dining room overlook the wooded hills of Tuscany and have doors leading directly outside where our guests can also eat while looking at the splendid views. Behind the kitchen is a utility room with washing machine and iron.
There are 3 bedrooms with built in closets - one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms - and three new bathrooms, complete with bathtubs and shower. There is a charming, beautifully decorated room 'upstairs'from the living room as another twin bedded bedroom with its own complete bathroom with shower. The views accross the hills from this room are breathtaking.
All the rooms are decorated with beautiful art prints and artifacts to make the house very warm and interesting. All rooms have ceiling fans.
