Maison Valenti is a 17th century stone cottage sitting on the edge of the tranquil hamlet of La Coste in the heart of the Languedoc. The cottage has stunning views up to the Gorges d'Heric, which offers natural swimming pools and spectacular waterfalls and walking. The Gorges flow into the River Orb where there are river beaches, kayaking and fishing, while the bustling Mediterranean beaches are less than an hour away. For those who wish to holiday as a group but retain privacy and independence, additional accommodation is available which will increase the capacity to 10 guests by adding the Garden Room, which provides 2 extra beds and Maison Pierre (see Property 707070) Ryanair are now flying into Beziers from Bristol & Luton all year round, as well as Stansted in peak season, which means you can be at the cottage within an hour of landing. There are 5 airports within a reasonable drive.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Rental is from 16.30 on Saturday to 11.00 the following Saturday. Due to the number of steps, the cottage is unsuitable for very elderly and handicapped people.

    Village parking is 90 metres from the property and a trolley is on hand for luggage etc. Towels and linen are available for hire at a cost of £10 per person.

    There is a final cleaning charge of Euro 20 per cottage which is payable on arrival to our housekeeper

Ground Floor: Main Entrance into the sitting room with large stone inglenook fireplace with woodburning stove, wooden beams and flagstone floor. This room has a lovely cosy atmosphere. Large luxury shower room. Separate WC with wash hand basin. Kitchen / dining room well equipped cottage style with doorway that leads to the sitting room. French doors open on to the surrounding terrace. Open plan stone spiral staircase leads from the kitchen. First Floor: Two double bedrooms which are adjoining, with exposed beams and views over the woodland garden. One double can be arranged as two singles). Outside overlooking the whole garden and surrounding the cottage on two sides is an extensive private stone tiled terracotta terrace / veranda where you can look up to the peaks and down to the garden while enjoying alfresco dining.
