Our first visit to Crete

This was our first villa holiday and our first visit to Crete and we were not disappointed. We had a fabulous holiday, and this was down to everything that is described in the villa details being accurate. It is a large and spacious villa, with the panoramic views being better than imagined. It was so peaceful with only the sheep/goat bells to be heard across the valley and the faint noise of village life below. The villa was spotless on arrival and well looked after throughout our fortnight (including pool cleaning). Would definitely recommend this property, we have two small children aged 5 & 2 and the steps down into the pool made it easy access for them. As the villa is just off the beaten track and you cannot walk to the local shops, a car is essential. Although the local beaches are nice and clean we would highly recommend visiting other beaches, especially Stavros and Falasarna. It is great to see that tourism hasn't spoilt this part of Crete and there are no fast food american restaurants, just your traditional tavernas. We would definitely consider returning to this lovely villa. Greek life is very laid back indeed!
