In an idyllic location with cottage garden and wonderful views, it is the owners' second home and has been fitted and furnished to a very high standard. On 3 floors, it is newly renovated whilst retaining original features - inglenook fireplaces, window seats and beams. Sitting room with woodburning stove, iPod docking station, free Broadband connection and satellite channels. Dining room seats 6. Well equipped Kitchen - oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing/drying machines. Winding staircases. 1st floor: Twin bedroom with desk and free Broadband connection. Bathroom with power shower, claw foot bath, wash basin and WC. 2nd Floor: Luxurious extra wide Adjustamatic double bed with massage facility and new adjacent shower room with power shower, wash basin and WC. Single Bedroom. South facing well-stocked cottage garden with wooden garden furniture under shady apple boughs. BBQ. Baby chair and cot with bedding. Optional daily housekeeping service. One well behaved dog welcome.

The Cotswolds are wonderful to visit at any time of the year. Michaelmas Cottage is located in the idyllic village of Bourton-on-the-Hill just 2 miles from the North Cotswold bustling market town of Moreton-in-Marsh. The village is high up with wonderful far reaching views. Batsford Gardens, Arboretum and Falconry, Sezincote Gardens and Bourton House Gardens are in the village and wonderful food with a great ambiance can be found in the Horse and Groom at the top of the hill. Michaelmas Cottage is quiet and peaceful being off the main road with open views towards the Batsford Estate. Stow-on-the-Wold, Chipping Campden, Bourton-on-the-Water, Broadway and Daylesford Organics nearby with Cirencester, Cheltenham, Evesham, Stratford-upon-Avon and Oxford being amongst other tempting places to visit just a little further afield. Fish, ride or just walk, for mile upon beautiful mile...returning home to an invigorating shower or relaxing bath followed by a massage... bliss!

Notes: The accommodation is located on three floors, the first and second floor being accessed by winding staircases which may make it unsuitable for the elderly or inform. Because of the quirky nature of the old walls it is not possible to fit a stair gate. The safety of children is the responsibility of the parents/guardians at all times. Whilst one well behaved dog is welcome (a bowl and lead are provided and sometimes even biscuits!) it is regretted that it must remain on the ground floor. Owners are requested to ensure that their dog is clean before allowing access into the downstairs rooms - old towels are provided for this purpose. An extra charge of £20 is made.
