This beautiful and spacious newly acquired apartment is finished to the highest standard with modern Spanish architectural details, marble floors throughout and quality German fittings. The furnishings and decorations are elegant, stylish and comfortable with all the mod-cons and luxuries you would expect from an apartment of this quality. There are two large pools and lush sun drenched tropical gardens. One of these fabulous outdoor pools is overlooked from the front terrace and bedroom which is only metres away from the apartment. This terrace, which is attached to the front bedroom gives extensive views over the tropical gardens and pool, whilst the rear terrace looks out with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean.The picture from the rear terrace is a 'Genuine' stunning sea view and not taken from another location in the complex. This quiet, private gated community is located in the desirable and extremely popular area of Calahonda. The community of Bonita Hills is maintained to the highest standard and is one of the newer, more exclusive communities in long-time established Calahonda. There are fine restaurants and a small market next door to the Miel Y Nata, Restaurant for essentials less than 200 mtrs from Bonita Hills, with three commercial centres incorporating, larger super markets, shops and many other services in lower Calahonda only 2km away, Calahonda has all the amenities that the larger towns have on offer. Due to the great number of English speaking residents and visitors, it is easy to find English medical centres and most people there can speak English. The Club del Sol provides Tennis and Top Class Gym facility's, Steam rooms and Saunas at very reasonable daily and weekly rates, and is less than 0.5km away. We are also a short distance from Horse riding facilities at 25 Euros/hour.

Calahonda is just a short drive (20 min) to both Marbella (west) and Fuengirola (east) and all the amenities that these large towns have on offer. For those who prefer beach activities, the apartment is only 2-5km from some of the finest beaches on the Costa del Sol. Cabopino beach has recently been declared a natural monument with pristine dunes and a section of the beach reserved for naturist sunbathing. On the Calahonda beaches you will also find jet-skies and facilities for sailing, balloon flights or cable skiing.

How to get there: GETTING THERE Fly to Malaga-Calahonda is just 30 km from the airport Flights available from the UK through Monarch Airlines, BA, Jet2, BMI Baby, and Easy Jet. 9You can check their websites for further information). Taxis and transfers from Malaga and Gibraltar Airports to any location on the Costa del Sol and in Southern Spain. English speaking drivers - though with prior arrangement it may be possible to arrange a cheaper service locally . A local Little Road Train Service from the Main Shops and Bus stop in lower Calahonda Town to Bonita Hills, runs every half hour from early morning till late evening, and the cost is 1 Euro one-way. If your unsure about driving on your first trip, try taking a taxi from the Airport and car rental is readily available locally (and delivered to the Apartment) if required for getting around Calahonda and nearby towns and beaches.This is an excellent way of getting use

Ski: Sierra Nevada is 169km away from Calahonda, and aprox 1 Hour 54 Mins drive by car. The Sierra Nevada is a dramatic, rugged and extensive mountain range, the highest in Europe after the Alps and the most significant section of the Cordillera Penibética. The protected area encompasses 86,208ha of torrential rivers, sheer-sided gorges, stony scree slopes, glacial lakes between snowy summits and, in the foothills of the Alpujarras, cultivated terraces of almond trees and vegetables. There are over 20 peaks more than 3,000m, which makes it the second highest mountain range in Europe after the Alps. The two highest peaks in the Iberian Peninsula are in the park, the Mulhacén at 3,482m, closely followed by the Pico del Veleta, at 3,396m. On a clear day these mountains can be seen from as far away as Africa.In the west of the park is Solynieve, Europe's southernmost ski resort, where the ski season generally runs from November to April.

Give Me Sunshine

I could not believe how lovely the weather was in the early winter months - sunbathing in December!! We decided to spend two months in Spain last November and needed to find somewhere to stay and were very pleased with our choice.
The apartment was clean and well equipped, bright and spacious, with a lovely large south-facing balcony with views down to the sea below. Many hours were spent topping up the tan, reading our books and sipping the odd glass of wine.
It is well positioned with the local supermarkets, bars and restaurants of Calahonda to hand (where you can watch all the televised football games live) and midway between Malaga and Marbella. There is plenty of choice for days out with a variety of places in easy reach. The old town in Marbella has real character and is an ideal spot for a stroll and a meal, particularly at weekends when there is a great atmosphere.
Perhaps the best recommendation is that I tried to book the apartment when returning in January, however someone had beaten us to it.

Bonita Hills Apartment

My partner and I together with our 2 year old daughter spent a week at Bonita Hills July 09. The customer service from the owner was fantastic contantly keeping in touch and providing as much details and help as he possibly could.
The apartment itself was very homely, clean and well maintained and the ground were simply stunning, the residents were also very freindly.
The apartment is situated on a hill (hence the name) therefore I would recommend a car for daily outings however there is a train that runs frequently to take you to the nearest strip which has a few bars and restaurants.
I have rated this holiday excellent overall (Thanks Phil & Caz) and hope to return sometime in the near future, I have also recommended this place to my friends and Family.

We had a really fabulous holiday.
The apartment was beautiful and the views stunning.
This was our second time here and we intend returning again.
The apt is immaculately clean and very much home from home.
The gardens are stunning and we spent a lot of time by the pool.
The booking was simple and straightforward with no problems at all and the apt is only 30 minutes from airport.

All in all we highly recommend this apt.
We will definitely be returning in the near future.

The apartment was extremely comfortable. It was
everything we expected, and more. A really well appointed "home from home".

The efficient handling of our booking, the local information you provided and prompt despatch of the keys made it all so easy. The apartment itself, and Bonita Hills are extremely comfortable and appealing and help contribute
so much to a holiday.

The surrounding area offers so much to visit without excessive travelling, with such an array to choose from, be it golf, walking, sightseeing, eating out, shopping or just ambling around.
