Golf: The 18 hole Skibbereen Golf Course is located 3miles (5 kms) from Inish Beg. There are 6 other golf courses within one hour's drive of Inish Beg, including the famous Old Head of Kinsale.
Horses and Carriages: There are horses on the estate. On weekdays you can take a carriage and groom around the estate and Inish Beg island. For children there are Shetland ponies and small carriages.
Water Sports @Inish Beg: Inish Beg is home to Irish Water Sports; Power Boating, Sailing and Wind Surfing. Courses, Rental and Sales All you need at any level to get on the water. Discounts of 10% on Irish Water Sports rates for guests staying at Inish Beg.See www.irishwatersports.ie. Baltimore is famous for its harbour and wonderful trips can be made to Sherkin and Cape Clear Islands by regular ferry. Other trips can be arranged to many of the Carbery Hundred Isles. With fresh water river fishing on the river Ilen and sea angling out of Baltimore, the area is ideal for the fisherman. Angling boats can be hired locally.
