La Febvrerie is situated just 3hrs drive from Calais, a detached thatched/timbered cottage surrounded by lovely south facing fenced and gated gardens. Situated in the tiny hamlet of Morainville-Jouveaux, the peace and quiet of the area will allow you to relax and get away from it all. The nearest village for shopping and restaurants is Cormeilles, 7kms from the cottage. Conversely, the seaside resorts (sandy beaches) of Deauville and Trouville and busy fishing port of Honfleur are just 25 minutes away. There is also a wonderful race course at Deauville and lots of golf courses.The Calvados Distillery in Cormeilles and the animal preservation park at Cerza are a must as is the much painted village (Monet) of Etretat. Lieury (3km) has a restaurant and holds a market on Thursday and Saturday.

Many, many local attractions including those listed above. Also lovely area for walking and cycling, golfing and fishing. Indoor swimming pools at Honfleur, Deauville and Lixeux. Cathedral at Liseux. Visit the Normandy landing beaches from this location. Watch the races at Honfleur and check out the local golf courses.

Notes: The kitchen is a small galley kitchen but fully fitted with plenty of equipement. The oven/grill is small and in a portable unit. In a seperate utility room there is another sink, a washing machine and large American fridge/ freezer with ice making facility. The garden is huge and south facing with trees and a wooden climbing frame and swings

The interior is pleasantly furnished in keeping with the cottage and boasts many extra home comforts including video player, a selection of videos, games, radio, CD player.The accommodation comprises of a large living/dining room with double sofa bed and open fire place. A small but fully fitted galley kitchen with dishwasher and a scullery with American 'fridge/freezer complete with ice-maker, washing machine, etc., shower room and WC. An open tread staircase leads up to pretty bedrooms. Master bedroom with brass double bed. One double bedroom with sofa bed and single folding bed, leading to second double bedroom. Bathroom and WC.
