The house stands by itself on the open hillside, set slightly back from the little road that leads down into the village of Annagry. The view from the back door goes all the way to the horizon. In August you can pick blackberries along the edge of the road. It’s a traditional stone cottage, pleasantly and skilfully modernised to a very high standard. It’s impeccably clean, light and spacious, with pale, grey tiled floors throughout. The pine-clad ceilings give the place a fine and warmly comfortable feeling. There is new oil-fired central heating. There is a well equipped kitchen. The house easily sleeps 6 adults.

Nearest Ferry: Belfast at 120 Miles
Nearest Train: Derry at 50 Miles
Nearest Beach: beach at 2 Miles

Annagry is centrally located in the Donegal Gaeltach area. It’s in walking distance of the sea, lakes and mountains. Nearby you can visit the Glenveigh National Park, Mount Errigal and Dunlewy Leisure Centre. There are golf courses in Gweedore andCruit Island (10 minutes’ drive). There is fishing in the Crolly river (famous for its salmon) with its beautiful waterfalls and also in the picturesque Loughanure Lake, both five minutes away by car. There are a multitude of local sandy beaches to choose from (5 to 10 minutes away by car). Numerous nearby islands can be visited by boat. At night there is traditional music in Leo’s tavern, home to Enya and Clannad or in Danny Minnies award winning restaurant and there are plenty of other inexpensive local restaurants. Shopping can be done locally and in the supermarkets of Annagry, Gweedore and Dungloe.
