Casa Rossanna is a very well appointed villa in a superb location with beautifully maintained gardens and large communal family swimming pool. To the front are gardens and off road parking and access to the roof terrace. To the rear, the naya leads down to a large, private sun terrace, hedged on both sides with a fantastic outlook over the pool and gardens. It has a lovely sunny aspect and is provided with sunbeds, Spanish style 'chiminea' BBQ and outdoor furniture for 'al fresco' dining.

Moraira is approximately 1 hour from Valencia and Alicante airports and is a pretty coastal fishing village with excellent beaches (both sandy and rocky - great for those who enjoy snorkelling), a marina, local markets and a variety of shops, bars and restaurants to enjoy. It is within easy reach of Javea, Calpe, Altea and Benidorm with its numerous attractions including theme parks and water parks. Also, within a 15 minute drive you can be up in the mountains and its beautiful scenery - perfect for walking and visiting the mountain village of Guadalest and the Fonts d'Algar (waterfalls and freshwater pools - ideal for swimming and picnics).

Additional information about rental rates

  • During July and August bookings are Saturday to Saturday, however we are flexible outside these months. A 20% non refundable deposit is required at the time of booking with the remaining 80% being due 8 weeks before your holiday is due to commence. Additionally, a returnable security deposit of £100 is payable with the final balance. A mid holiday clean can be arranged direct with Jo and Adam who look after our villa and the fee for this is paid locally. They live in Moraira and are available for any emergency situations during your stay. For your security, a safe is provided at the villa.
  • Bed linen and bath/kitchen towels are provided for your use but please bring your own beach and pool towels.

Notes: The sun terrace is equipped with a table, chairs and a parasol and there are 2 sunbeds for your use. In the lounge, a log burner has been fitted and makes it an ideal property to use in the quieter months of the year. While the villa is suitable for the elderly or infirm, there are two steps down from the parking area into the villa and 6 steps down from the naya to the sun terrace. There are further steps from the patio to the swimming pool and communal gardens. We do not have cot/highchair facilities and with the open layout of the patio area, do not recommend Casa Rossanna for families with children under 5 years of age. During the months of July and August bookings are Saturday to Saturday but we are happy to be flexible outside these months.

Moraira: Is an upmarket coastal resort with very few hotels, no high rise buildings and boasts many fine restaurants and bars to suit all tastes and budgets. The luscious green countryside is dotted with private villas and small 'pueblo style' apartment complexes intermingled with pine woods and cultivated vine terraces interspersed with orange groves and almond trees. It is the perfect place to go if you are looking for a quiet seaside resort, with excellent facilities, blue flag beaches and is family orientated.

Books, games, DVDs: There is a selection available at the villa for your use, but they are mainly for children. You are welcome to bring your own DVDs/Cd's, alternatively there is an English speaking rental shop in Moraira.

We arrived at Casa Rossanna in late April for a 6 week stay.

The villa is small but perfectly formed, it has a nice new kitchen which although not overly stocked with crockery was sufficient for our stay. The lounge area was a good size and made the villa appear spacious. The TV package was very good with most of the UK freeview channels available.

Sitting on the patio overlooking the pool was just so relaxing, with the odd G&T under the palm trees, during our stay we had the pool to ourselves. If you stay at the villa you will need a car as its about an half hour walk into Moraira all down hill and just too steep to carry much back.

If you pick Casa Rossanna you will have a very enjoyable stay and we would not hesitate to use it again.
Owner's Response: We are delighted that 'R & V' enjoyed their stay and loved the villa. They have already indicated that they would like to stay again next year.
We would just like to correct the impression given, that the villa is on a steep hill, because it is not. It is however approx 1 mile from the town centre.
