The holiday lodge is situated directly adjacent to Colvend Golf Club. This picturesque course offers 18 challenging holes with superb views over the Galloway hills and the Solway Firth. The course is 5220 yards off the medal tees with an sss of 67. In spring the hills are covered in yellow gorse and the gardens full of bluebells and rhododendrons, summer sees roses and shrubs out in bloom while the autumn colours are marvellous with all the deciduous trees and the winters are mild with air from the Gulf Stream.
