Just a few minutes walk from the centre of the medieval hilltop village of Mougins is this stunning recently built property.
Set in large fully enclosed gardens with electric gates this is a
tranquil oasis in a superb location.
The gardens are in traditional Provencal style with manicured
lawned terraces dotted with ancient olive trees, swathes of
clipped Cyprus and sculptured fragrant lavender beds.
Adjacent to the 14 metre heated swimming pool is the covered
outside dining and sitting area and behind this the all weather
tennis court. There is a vine covered pergola attached to the
house with additional seating and eating areas and large well
furnished terrace with retractable awnings to provide shade
when needed.
The interiors are spacious and beautifully decorated in a muted
colour palette with modern Provencal furniture. From the
entrance hall steps lead to the large living areas with
comfortable seating, a feature stone fireplace and from here
doors lead out to the rear terrace and gardens. There is a
separate television room with UK satellite channels and DVD
player, lots of comfortable seating and a second feature stone
fire place.
There is also a small office/library with internet access and a
guest cloakroom. The fully fitted kitchen with gas range
connects via an archway to the formal dining room where again
you have French doors leading onto the garden. On this level
there is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with tub and
separate shower. On the first floor there are 4 bedrooms.
The master has a queen size bed, en-suite bathroom with tub
and separate shower, dressing room and private sitting room.
Of the remaining three bedrooms two are twins with en suite
shower rooms and private balconies and finally a double with
en suite bathroom with tub and dressing area.
On the lower floor of the property is the laundry room, a sitting
room and a further bedroom with en-suite shower room and
direct access to the garden, this would be ideal for a nanny or
teenagers and is only available upon request.
