This 300 year old fully renovated property originally owned by a Hungarian contessa was fully renovated in 2006 lots of character and set on the outskirts of the village enjoying total peace and tranquility, extremely well furnished to a high standard and only a short drive from the golf course and spas in the area. Relax in the gardens with BBQ or walk/cycle along the beautiful countryside. The property has all facilities including dishwasher, washing machine, sat TV etc and a great place to entertain.**** 4 star rating by Tourist board

the property has recieved a 4 star rating by the tourist board of Slovenia .Velika Polina is also referred to as the village of the Storks as migrating storks come every year and land here, 10 mins away is the thermal spas of Lendava, close to the Hungarian and Croatian borders, 15 mins drive takes you to the golf course and Spas at Moravce Toplice, or drive to the castle at Beltinci a short distance away, for the more adventurous there is flying. hot air ballooning, at the local airport 15 mins away or relax in the village with horse riding, fishing within 5 mins alternatively just relax in the gardens and enjoy a nice BBQ. Walking and cycling are also popular activities in this area, On a evening the village pubs are 5 mins away where you are sure to meet fellow holidaymakers enjoying our local brew and delicious wines.

Dentistry: In the thermal spas at Moravce Toplice, 15 mins away, a complete new dental theatre has been established offering a full range of Dental services at a fraction of normal EEC costs, appointments can be arranged

Day trips: The villa is located 20 mins from the Croatian border making day trips to Zagreb approx 1hr.20mins drive a main attraction, also 1hr 30 mins drive to lake Baliton (Europe's largest lake) in Hungary or 3 hours to the centre of Budapest. Graz in Austria is approx 1 hours drive or run to Vienna 3 hours. Ljubljana the capital and lake Bled takes 2hr 30 mins or continue to Trieste in Italy approx 4 hours all within a day trip possibility.

Ski: Skiing is available in the winter months at Maribor which is approx 50 mins drive away a very popular resort
