Situated on an entire acre of tropical rainforest, Punto de Vista events villa and retreat is a uniquely designed, ten bedroom, multi-use resort facility with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean and the world-renowned Manuel Antonio National Park.

The full-service, gated villa is available for exclusive events as well as to discerning, private groups in search of a more intimate luxury setting more like a private yacht than a common hotel. Services include on-site concierge, butler, private chef, and maid service.

“Punto de Vista" translated into English means “Point of View" relating to the pointed, ship-like design of the villa as well as the spectacular views.

Manuel Antonio is located near the colorful port city of Quepos, Costa Rica. It’s a 3 hour drive or a 20 minute plane/helicopter flight from Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO) near the nation's capital of San Jose. Current road work promises to soon cut drive time to 2 hours and 15 minutes. The villa is a 5 minute walk to the pristine beach at Playitas and a 30 minute walk along the beach to downtown Manuel Antonio and the National Park.

VILLA ACCOMODATIONS:
Ten Bedrooms all with private baths. Eight are in the main villa and two in the entry villa. The facility easily sleeps 24+. Configuration is as follows:
The main villa is the modern centerpiece of the villa complex featuring expansive ocean views, stone walls and floors, marble counters and sinks as well as tropical teak wood and cane ceiling finishes.
•Six deluxe bedrooms, all with ocean views
•Master bedroom with raised floors, walk in closet and Jacuzzi tub
•Family suite with king-sized bed in bedroom plus 2 twin beds in living area/game room, 2 computer desks and large terrace

The Entry Villa is a stone-clad tropical structure featuring extensive jungle hardwoods, nature-inspired stained glass windows, Italian Bizzaza accent tile, cane ceilings and unique lighting elements.
•Upper-level family suite with an all-wood loft and a pitched 20 foot ceiling
•Lower-level deluxe bedroom with a cane ceiling and private entry garden

All or most bedrooms of both the Main Villa and Entry Villa feature the following:

VILLA EVENTS SPACES:
The main villa features two distinct “zones" for either separate events or one combined event featuring two distinctive areas all within one villa.

The Below Canopy Zone occupies the ground floor and mezzanine levels of the main villa and consist of the following social areas:

•Reception Lounge/Elevator Lounge Aquarium
Double-height lounge area featuring well-displayed art pieces, an always-manned reception desk and men’s and women’s restrooms.

•Living Room/Event Space and Bar:
Large, operable sliding glass corners bring the ocean and jungle into this impressive double-height space. Perfect for receptions or parties, the space features a full bar with plasma TV and wine cellar as well as immediate proximity to the pool and jungle terrace spaces. Wired for professional club sound, a DJ platform is in the mezzanine overhead. Colored LED lighting completes this perfect jungle pool party space.

The open corner design additionally allows large objects such as a grand piano, billiard table or a studio mixing console to be rolled into the living room.

•Pool:
Footsteps from the living room/event space and with access to the first level bar, the pool area boasts both ocean views as well as an intimate connection with the jungle. A built-in seating area as well as an infinity edge make the coralstone-finished pool area truly unique.

•Mural, Entry Water Feature / Kids’ Pool:
If first impressions are everything, Punto de Vista does not disappoint. On entry, visitors are first treated to a one-of-a-kind, dual sided, mosaic mural standing 45 feet tall and forming the tip of the “ship-shaped" villa. This mural is the backdrop for the Entry Event’s Courtyard and water-feature / Kid’s pool. Underwater jets give ship-like motion to the building and underwater lighting illuminates the mural and gives nautical character to the villa.

•Mezzanine Lounge:
Although open to all building guests, the mezzanine lounge has a VIP feeling to it. The Mezzanine looks down into both the Reception Lounge as well as the Living Room and features the DJ platform and a bridge over the main staircase.

•Theatre/Digital Gaming Room:
Nothing kills jungle fever like a good, loud, action film or a spirited PlayStation 3 game on a large, high-definition screen. The rock-walled theatre features wiring for both overhead projection as well as standard Plasma or LCD panel displays.

The Above Canopy Zone occupies the top two floors of the villa including the building’s rooftop deck and consists of the following social areas:
•Dining and Events Terrace:
Perched high on the fourth level, the spacious Dining and Events Terrace can seat 50+ for dinner and shelter over a hundred for receptions in all weather. With perhaps the best view in the villa, the terrace features teak wood wrapped columns and beams as well as a pitched tropical woven ceiling with warm illumination.

•Terrace Bar:
Serving the Dining and Events Terrace is the Terrace Bar. The Bar features a mirrored backdrop for reflecting the magnificent view as well as a Plasma TV.

•Show Kitchen and Industrial Kitchen:
Designed with both practicality and entertainment in mind, the show kitchen and industrial kitchen form an important part of the villa. Centrally located and serving to the Events Terrace and bar, the Show Kitchen can be a focal point for congregation as well as for cooking shows or on-site cooking classes. The adjoining industrial kitchen provides overflow space and equipment for large events as well as a tropical, ocean-view “classroom" for more serious on-site cooking instruction.

•Conference / Multi-Use Room:
The only symmetrical room in the villa and situated on the extreme point of the building, the conference room has floor-to-ceiling glass and amazing views. In addition, the conference room features an integrated audio/video system, network access and a buffet area. This multi-purpose room can also serve as an enclosed dining room, message room or game room.

•Rooftop Deck / Bar and Infinity Edge Jacuzzi:
The entire top floor of the villa is a rooftop deck with commanding views of picturesque Manuel Antonio Bay and the above-jungle canopy. This large, pointed space resembling the deck of a ship, features a complete bar as well as an infinity edge Jacuzzi cantilevered high over the entry water feature some 60 feet below! Featuring an “altar-like" platform to the Jacuzzi, the rooftop deck is perfect for weddings, small concerts, yoga and dance clinics and gatherings of all types.

•A spacious, Teak wood paneled, eight person OTIS elevator provides efficient and handicapped access to all floors.
