Stroll through shaded arched loggias on both the upper and lower floors. Be romanced by the beauty of Romeo and Juliet balconies off of each bedroom. The sweeping open circular staircase, with artful niches, extends to the roof with a wrought iron railing. Drama is heightened by a two-story entrada, dining room, and Mayan consuela-walled living room. Local craftsmen have hand carved mahogany furniture that has been placed throughout the house by the interior designer/owner. The rooftop offers magnificent views of Tankah Bay to the south, and the mangrove jungle to the north. Trailing bougainvillea, coco palms, and colorful plantings enhance Oquidea’s exotic Mexican ambiance.
