As with the celebrated old Yucatecan Fincas, "HOUSE OF THE SWALLOW" opens to a lush, private garden and full size fresh water swimming pool, shaded by tropical fauna and tall palms. The high ceilings and flowing spaces of the interior, opening through French doors to the flowering garden outside, blend together to create a truly exotic Caribbean experience.

A striking example of the work of Mexico’s finest craftsmen is the Moorish brick dome (boboda castellana) of the dining room and two bedrooms. Main floor air-conditioned bedrooms are beautifully appointed with fabrics and treasures from Mexico and Guatemala, and include stunning bathrooms, each with a shower of lovely Mexican tile amid lush tropical vegetation.
The second floor master suite (air-conditioned master bedroom) is a self-contained apartment with its own small kitchen. It is connected to the main floor via an interior staircase open to the sky. The suite offers a world of its own, a private romantic space in which one can totally relax. Its luxurious bathroom features a stunning white polished circular bathtub, and from a spacious veranda, master suite guests have breathtaking views of the aqua Caribbean and the morning sunrise.
A popular gathering spot at the "HOUSE OF THE SWALLOW" is the rooftop terrace, reached by the interior or exterior staircase, where the guests may enjoy the warm sunny days and the magical evening hours of the tropics. Lounging furniture provides a very comfortable perch from which guests will savor the spectacular 360-degree ocean view.
