Nestled snugly only steps away from the babbling sound of a natural brook that slowly tumbles its way among tall spruce and pine trees, Brookside House is ideally situated for pure mountain enjoyment. From the hot tub deck, you can watch the beautiful Colorado skies through the treetops while listening to the sound of the brook. This remodeled 2,500 square foot house is ideal for families who want to enjoy the mountains among the forest. It is located 4.5 miles south of Breckenridge in Town of Blue River.
Fully furnished granite countertop kitchen opens up into the vaulted, two-story ceiling above the dining and living area and is separated from them with a breakfast bar with 4 bar stools. The dining room table seats 8, and is surrounded on two sides by windows opening up into the forest outside.
The living room is down two steps from the dining area, and faces an electric fireplace and the entertainment center. A deck with BBQ grill and table and chairs is off the living room.
One of the highlights of Brookside House is the large, 800 square foot recreation room complete with full-size, Ash and Oak pool table, and a large wet bar with ice-maker and small refrigerator. The entertainment area of this room includes a regulation dart board, large screen, stereo TV/VCR and CD player. There is also a game table in front of large windows looking out to Mt. Baldy and the Continental Divide. There are two queen sleeper sofas of southwestern motif and a full bath on this lower level.
The master bedroom is on the upper level with a king bed and private deck overlooking the brook, this room shares a full bath with a second bedroom with a Queen bed. On the main level is the third bedroom with a Captain's bunk bed (double bottom/twin top). Third queen sleeper sofa in living room.
On the north side of the house, a large deck overlooking the brook houses a six-person hot tub. Same side, a large, 350 square foot deck includes furniture (table and four chairs) and a gas, BBQ grill.
This mountain getaway has full laundry facilities. No garage, driveway parking only.
