La Casa De Los Artistes is a lovely retreat in the heart of Santa Fe's historic district. Designated as a contributing architectural building, it is located in a quiet tree lined neighborhood near the Plaza, galleries, and museums.The elegantly restored bungalow is a fine example of "Pueblo Revival Architecture" created in the 1932's by a group of Artists led by Carlos Vieira who's landmark home is nearby.This simple, but tastefully appointed residence has been planned with great attention to detail. The polished, carefully illuminated diamond plaster walls are perfect for presenting a gallery of fine art.Three bedrooms open to the garden, and there is a den that is convertivble to an additional bedroom. There are four bathrooms, one with jacuzzi bath and shower, one with bubble therapy bath and shower, one with shower, one with a shower on lower level. The kitchen is beautiful and a wonderful place to cook and eat.French doors open to a large portal with an outdoor Kiva. The portal surronds a delightful private courtyard within the magnificent walled garden. The home has approximately 1200 square feet of covered portal and three patios.
