Alternatively, you can choose to go out, since you're just minutes away from great restaurants, some of the best deep sea fishing, world-class salmon fishing, diving, hiking, and kayaking on the Oregon Coast, as well as local attractions like the Tillamook Cheese Factory, Blue Heron French Cheese Company, local museums, and art galleries. The living room, with views of the Tillamook Bay and surrounding mountains has a cozy wood stove, easy chair as well as a sofa sleeper that converts to a bed. Entertainment at the home includes Cable TV, a DVD player/game system, free high-speed Wi-Fi Internet, and a stereo system ready for you to connect your iPod docking station. For those of you who would like to catch up with friends, there is FREE LONG DISTANCE calling to anywhere in the Continental US. The cozy kitchen is open to the living room, has everything you'll need to whip up your favorite vacation meals, and doubles as a dining room with seating for four. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and a claw foot tub that you can actually enjoy the afternoon sun in! Imagine, a vacation bubble bath in the sun with a great Laurel view -how relaxing! For your convenience, a stacked washer/dryer set is in the bathroom closet. The outdoor living at this home can be enjoyed any time of year as the deck is fully covered with skylights above, so you can enjoy the amenities on the deck without feeling closed in! A 4-person hot tub is on the deck as well as a propane BBQ. Deck chairs are located inside the entry closet.
Upstairs are three bedrooms. You will access the third bedroom by walking through one of the main bedrooms. The third bedroom has two twin beds and the other two bedrooms have queen size beds. At the top of the landing is a comfy chair to enjoy the views of the Tillamook Bay and the afternoon sun. Wake to views from bed of either Tillamook Bay or the surrounding mountains while you're safely above the tsunami hazard zone, yet still within walking distance of the water and downtown Bay City.
Even better news is that this home is also pet friendly! You may bring up to two dogs with you with payment of the additional $50 pet cleaning fee. You will be responsible to clean up after your dog(s) in the large yard.
