The Forest is located above Snow Pines Estate and on the edge of a forest; it has its own dedicated ski back run through the forest from Serwa’s (the green run from the top of the mountain.) For the ski out you cross over Snow Pines Way, to the ski back on Lower Snow Pines Road, it leads you all the way down to Ridge Rocket, Snow Ghost and Plaza Chairs this will take you 5 minutes. Ski-in access is from Serwa’s, simply take a right turn when you see the exit sign for the Forest, and when you meet the road ski down the road to Snow Lynx on your right hand side.To get to the village center there is a very pretty lit walking path (groomed by snow cats every evening) that will take 20 minutes or you can catch the free Big White shuttle bus. The bus stop is located at the top of Snow Pines Crescent, a 5 minute walk from Snow Lynx.Parking is available for 1 car in the garage. More cars and you will need to park them in Happy Valley Car Park.From front door with porch, enter into a hallway with heated slate floor, wood walls, bench, coat hooks and boot warmer. A half bath is to your left hand. Walk into the kitchen with beautiful wood floors, exposed beams in the ceiling, wood cabinet doors, and stainless steel appliances. A solid wood kitchen island with 5 stools separates the rooms. Kitchen sink has a window overlooking the side and to the adjacent chalet. Dining table with 8 wheeled back dining chairs are set beside a large windows overlooking the balcony with BBQ. The lounge area has exposed rough wood beams in the ceiling, 2 leather sofas, gas fireplace clad with slate and solid wood mantle with 27"TV and DVD in the corner and 2 windows overlooking the road and mountain. Stairs lead up to the master bedroom and separate stairs lead down to ground floor.Top FloorMaster bedroom is at the front of the chalet and has windows overlooking the mountains with a wood queen bed, bedside tables, and built in closet. Private bathroom is up a set of stairs and has heated slate floor, bath tub with over head, basin and toilet and the wall of the bath is glass overlooking bedroom below. Second bedroom has a double over double bunk, built in closet and window overlooking The Forest Road. Shared bathroom suite with bath tub, shower over head is located next door to 2nd bedroom.Ground floorAt the bottom of the stairs is a den with sleeper couch (2) 27" TV/DVD and a door leads you to the deck with hot tub; straight in front is the shared bathroom with bath tub; you walk through the den to 3rd bedroom with 2 sets of single bunks, a small windows overlooks hot tub; and an alcove with washer dryer is next to bathroom.
