Ski out access to the ski hill is down Snow Pines Road to the ski run that leads to Snow Ghost, Ridge Rocket and Plaza Chair, this will take 5 minutes if the road is covered in snow (Snow Pines Estates have a policy not to sand the roads so that they can be used by skiers and snowboarders), if there is no snow on the road it is an easy walk down to the ski run and it will take 15 minutes. Ski -in access is from Serwa’s (a green run from the top of the mountain) Simply take a right turn when you see the exit sign for Snow Pines Estates, and when you meet the road cross over it, continue down Snow Pines Road and down to the chalet, this will take 3 minutes if snow on road, if no snow the walk is 5 minutes. To get to the village center there is a very pretty lit walking path (groomed by snow cats every evening) that will take 20 minutes or you can catch the free Big White shuttle bus. The bus stop is located at the top of Snow Pines Crescent, a 5 minute walk from the chalet.Parking is available for 1 car off the road. More cars and you will need to park them in the free Snow Pines over- flow car park.This townhouse was built in 1999 and recently renovated into a lovely warm and tastefully decorated unit.From the parking the car, walk down a path to the front door with small porch and ski locker by the front door. Enter the hallway with slate floor, immediately to your left carpeted stairs lead up to the main living room floor. The first door is the 2nd bedroom with single over double bunk, large wardrobe; window looks out onto adjacent chalet. Next door is the bathroom with bath tub and shower over head, basin and toilet. Master bedroom has queen with pine header, large window looks out onto road and forest, walk in closet with wash basin. At the end of the passge is a laundry closet with washer/dryer.2nd floor.The lounge and dining area is carpeted and tiled floor in the kitchen. Three seat sofa (with pull out bed), pine box and arm chair with stool are set in front of the stone clad gas fire place and 26’ TV/DVD. A door leads to the balcony with hot tub; which overlooks Lower Snow Pines Road, trees and Monashee Mountains beyond. Kitchen has pine cabinets, white appliances of fridge with freezer on top, electric stove, microwave, all the other items you need to cook, kitchen sinks has window overlooking Snow Pines Road. Small breakfast bar adds work space and has couple of bar stools. Oblong pine table with 8 chairs are to side of the kitchen and has a small window overlooking the adjacent chalet.
