Big White Vacation Rental apartment

This property was built in 1999 and recently renovated into a great family vacation winter home. Located in Snow Pines, ski-out access to the ski hill is down Snow Pines Crescent to the ski run that leads to the Snow Ghost, Ridge Rocket and Plaza Chair (Snow Pines Estates have a policy not to sand the roads so that they can be used by skiers and snowboarders). This will take 5 minutes if the roads are covered in snow, or is an easy 10 minute walk down to the ski run if there is not sufficient snow on the road. Ski-in access is from Serwa’s (a green run from the top of the mountain). Simply take a right turn when you see the exit sign for Snow Pines Estates, and when you meet the road cross over it, continue to the top of Snow Pines Crescent and ski directly down to 7th Heaven; this will take 3 minutes if snow is on road, or is a 5 minute walk if there is no snow on the road. To get to the village center there is a very pretty lit walking path (groomed by snow cats every evening) that will take 20 minutes or you can catch the free Big White shuttle bus. The bus stop is located at the top of Snow Pines Crescent, a 5 minute walk from 7th Heaven.Parking is available for 2 cars. If you have more than 2 cars you will need to park them in the free Snow Pines over-flow car park. From the chalet parking spot, there are wooden steps which lead down to the balcony and the entrance of 7th Heaven.Enter into this apartment through a hallway with a tiled floor, in which you will find a bench and hooks for coats. Before reaching the kitchen, to the left is a laundry closet with a stacked washer/dryer and to the right is a full bathroom with bath tub and over-head shower. The kitchen is the next room with a tiled floor, pine cabinet doors and white appliances. Fully equipped with an electric stove, microwave, dishwasher and a large fridge with small freezer on top, this kitchen has all the items you need to cook your favourite meals. A small breakfast bar with 3 stools faces into the kitchen. The sink has a window in front of it; the view is of a snow bank up to Snow Pines Crescent. Beside the fridge is a desk area with a chair and high speed internet connection. A large oak oval table and 8 solid wood chairs are located within easy access to the kitchen. The spacious lounge area takes up the whole front of the chalet. The double height windows and vaulted ceiling give it a lovely, natural light. 2 leather sofas and arm chairs accommodate seating for everyone in order to watch the 52" TV with DVD player. Set to the back of the living room is a foosball table. A gas fire place is set up in the corner of the room and comforters for the sofas add to the cosy factor. The living room is fully carpeted. A patio door to the side of the living room leads to the balcony that wraps around the outside of the apartment and leads to the hot tub situated in the front for great views of Snow Pines Estates and the Monashee Mountains beyond. Just outside the patio door is a very neat BBQ attached to the balcony. To the right of the kitchen are the stairs for the 2nd floor with its 3 bedrooms, bathroom and loft. Directly in front of the top of the landing is the full bathroom that services all the bedrooms. To the left is the master bedroom which looks out onto Snow Pines Crescent; this is a large room with a wooden banister sleigh bed, large chest of drawers, built in cupboard and a window above the bed. Continuing down a short corridor from the Master bedroom, you will find another bedroom with 2 sets of pine bunks against each wall. A small window between the bunks looks into Snow Pines Crescent and slope side. Turning right at the top of the stairs, you can find the 2nd bedroom which has a queen sized solid wood sleigh bed, a built-in cupboard and a small window that overlooks the side of the building and slope. To the right of this bedroom is the loft with a fabric-covered sofa, a cabinet with TV, GameCube and games. This area is light and airy with a banister overlooking the lounge area below.
