The Hideaway -- 4 Bedroom/2 Bath Cabin
The Hideaway Lodge is the perfect getaway for large groups: with 4 bedrooms and 2 baths it sleeps 10 to 14. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need to cook during your vacation. Ceramic tiled counters and a gas range and stainless steel appliances opening towards the dining area. The dining table seats 6 with additional tables on the deck and patio. The spaciousness of this cabin makes it comfortable for large groups – the Den on the ground floor and the Great Room upstairs complemented by the 9’ slate pool table, leather and upscale furnishings, and brick and gas log fireplace. The Master Bedroom is on the main floor with a King bed, a walk-in closet, and satellite TV. The second bedroom has a Queen, and shares a bathroom with the Master Bedroom. The third bedroom, on the ground floor, has a queen bed. Also on the ground floor, the second bedroom has a twin-over-full log bunk bed and a log twin to the side. A gas log fireplace divides the Den between another sleeping area and a recreational area. One side has two queen futons and a TV, and the other side of the Den has the ping pong table, and a dart board. The multi-level deck is waiting for cook outs and more with the gas grill, extra seating, and picnic tables. The hot tub is always inviting, but if you don’t feel like soaking in it, the hammock is also relaxing. The fire pit outside is perfect for roasting hot dogs and telling ghost stories. There is a trail down to the Little Tennessee River from the cabin, and when there are less leaves on the tree there is a view of it as well.
The Hideaway Lodge has plenty of things for you to do in and outside of the cabin, but is still convenient to Bryson City and white-water rafting on the Nantahala River. Other activities that you may enjoy include horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking, riding the Smoky Mountain Rail Road, and more. For a night life, enjoy the Harrah’s Casino in Cherokee, Karaoke night at Mickey’s Pub in Bryson City. Thirteen Moons Restaurant at Nantahala Village has Sushi Night every Wednesday and special weekend menus. Biltmore Estate is a little over an hour away in Asheville, and many people enjoy visiting it year round. The Hideaway is just a scenic drive through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park away from Gatlinburg, TN and you can enjoy its tourist attractions and then escape the traffic to your very secluded base camp at The Hideaway Lodge.
THE HIDEAWAY LODGE is pet friendly, sleeps 4-8 and is available year round.
