Bryson City Vacation Rental cabin: Bryson City

Welcome to Three Cubs Lodge! This 4, bedroom/3 bath cabin is located in Long Branch Estates off of Needmore Road. You can hike along the roads of the development or walk the kids down to the playground and relax by the waterwheel. If you don’t feel like leaving the house you can just relax on one of the several porches and enjoy the view. The front porch has rocking chairs for your enjoyment and the back porch offers a grill and eating area.

The living room boasts of a stone fireplace and comfortable country style furniture to enjoy while watching TV. In the dining room, there is a huge dining room table which is set up for 6, but has extra chairs for eight. There is also an eating area for 4 off the kitchen and two stools at the breakfast bar. The master bedroom has its own porch area with a hanging swing. There is a queen size bed, a walk-in closet and a full bath including a whirlpool tub. The guest bedroom also has a queen size bed and plenty of closet anddrawer space for storage. The 3rd bedroom on the main level has bunk beds for the kids. The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances including a dishwasher and microwave oven. There is plenty of cookware, pots and pans, casseroles, and a crock pot for those dinners after a long day of being outdoors. Off of the kitchen there is a laundry room complete with a washer and dryer.

Upstairs is furnished with a futon on one side and a pull out couch and living area on the other. This area also has its own porch with awesome views. There is also a bathroom with a shower in this upstairs loft area.

If you wish to leave the development, you can go fishing and tubing as close as along Needmore Road. There you will find the Little Tennessee River where you can fish, tube, walk along the swinging bridge or practice canoeing or kayaking. If you wish to go into Bryson City, it is a 15 mile drive where you will find a variety of eateries and special shops where there is something for everyone on your shopping list. You can also treat yourself to a ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad which will take you into the Nantahala Gorge where you can sign up for kayaking or rafting adventures. You can also ride through the town and into the park of Deep Creek for hiking and tubing.

Other activities that are close by are horseback riding, jet boat riding, gem mining, swimming in the nearby lakes, visiting Fontana Lake and Dam, driving the Dragon, or a scenic ride through the Great Smoky Mountain Park which within one and a half hours can lead you to the town of Gatlinburg, TN. If there is a rainy day, the day can be spent by taking a ride into the town of Franklin and treating the kids to a day at the Fun Factory for a day of arcade games, go cart riding and miniature golf.

Three Cubs Lodge is pet friendly, sleeps 8-10 and is available year round.
