The Chaffin home is located in Corvallis, an agricultural community 2 miles northeast of Hamilton, MT. Surrounded by hundreds of acres of working farmland, you will find peace, serenity, and some of the best views in the entire Bitterroot Valley. Take in a 90 mile view of the spectacular Bitterroot mountains just as the earliest settlers of the valley did more than 100 years ago.

The historic home is a mix of old and new, with some original features still in place along with more modern conveniences in the kitchen and throughout the home. You will remember the uneven floors and the cracks from settling over the years as much as you will appreciate the high speed Internet service and dishwasher. The large screened porch provides a memorable setting for a morning cup of coffee or a nightcap with family or friends with views of the huge Teller vegetable garden adjoining the property.

There are 3 bedrooms in the home, one with a queen bed and two with two twin beds each. Two full baths and two 1/4 baths provide ample facilities for a home that sleeps six. A large dining room with fireplace provides a warm setting for a memorable meal while two large living rooms will give everyone plenty of room to wind down and relax.

The home is located less than 5 minutes from a public access and boat launch on the Bitterroot River for those coming to the area to take advantage of world class fly fishing, and there are endless recreational opportunities in every direction from the home.
