the most wonderful condo in paradise

We have stayed in aloha loft twice now, once in 2008 and this last stay in August of 2009. We were so impressed with the hospitality of the owner and the quality of the amenities that we actually altered our plans the second time, to be able to stay at this one particular condo.
The location: perfect, walk to the beach, short drive to Hanalei, surrounded by green lushness of the island. Walk outside on the porch in the morning and look at the mountains, most clear days you will see these gorgeous falls in the distance, did I say paradise...yes! The building is on the Princeville resort grounds, so the golf course, tennis courts are right next door, and the running trail starts just a couple of hundred feet from your door. If you are considering kayaking Napali coast or hiking to THE valley, you do want to stay here, forget south shore and hours of driving at 4 am.
The loft: gorgeous hardwood floors, granite countertops, new appliances, washer & dryer in unit. We used the upstairs loft to spread out our clothes and used the closet there, but lived only on the main floor. The place has an upscale feeling to it, and the crew that does the cleaning, does it superbly, the condo was spotless both times we visited. You will find beach towels available for your use and even a boogie board. Kitchen has a blender, microwave, and nice new stove with smooth top, plates, glasses, silverware; all you need to prepare the tastiest dragon fruit breakfast. If you find the inclination, you will be able to cook full dinners there, we did not since the owner recommended a few local places to eat that were to die for :-) Negatives: there is always something, but here it is tough to find anything wrong. Because the condo has windows on two sides of the building you get the breeze going and there is no need for A/C, there isn't one, but we never felt the need to turn one on, should it was there. We felt very fortunate to have found aloha loft and we do intend to return there again when visiting our favorite island.
Few last words, the owner was most helpful with recommendations for local places of interest, food and such. We even had a number for a private concierge to help arrange things if needed. However you are not checked upon in any way. You have fool privacy, we’re from San Francisco, we value privacy and peace. You will find that here. We found happiness!
