This area was started in the 1920's by families who loved to come to the salt water rivers on the coast of Georgia to fish. The cottages, cabins, and mobile homes in the community are all privately owned . The dirt and gravel roads are not crowded, there are no traffic lights, and peace and serenity abound. This is a perfect place for a break from noise, traffic, and crowds.
