Quaint vacation home located a block from Russian River
Le Petite Soleil takes advantage of the Russian River activities without the traffic -- tucked away on a country lane, this three bedroom two bathroom home offers a 2nd home away from home. Casual country feel, large landscaped yard, with gorgeous bbq/conversation area among gardens, trees and other landscaping, and at night, no need to stop, with an outdoor firepit just off the entertainment room, so kids can keep playing games, enjoy the outdoor swing, or watch their favorite movie, while the adults enjoy a glass of wine or drink on the patio.
Parking for 3 vehicles, our guests enter the front door and are presented with the living room, featuring 2 sofas, coffee table, and TV. Straight ahead is a nicely stocked kitchen, with refrigerator, stove, d/w, microwave, coffee maker and toaster oven, and adjoining dining room, comfortable for 4-6 guests, but plenty of extra or outdoor seating also available. Continuing through the dining area and stepping down several steps, is the entertainment room with wood burning stove, 2 leather recliners for viewing, trundle bed, small TV, and plenty of games. down a small hallway is the first guest bedroom, with queen bed, and french doors out to the hot tub. In summer, there is also an above ground swimming pool. There are fruit trees for guests to pick fruit, and fresh flowers throughout the grounds.
Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with trundle which folds into a king size bed accessing the upstairs deck (outdoor propane heater provided for sitting out if it's chilly), and the other with queen bed, considered the master bedroom. A full bath upstairs has shower/tub combination.
High speed internet and cable TV are provided, with free long distance (domestic) This cottage is a good jump off to Guerneville, Santa Rosa or Healdsburg, centrally located to enjoy the Russian River, wineries or the Sonoma Coast. Jump over to Healdsburg via Westside or Eastside Road, and enjoy Davis Bynum, Rabbit Ridge, Rochambo, Rodney Strong or J Wineries.
