Healdsburg Vacation Rental house

Twin Oak is a beautiful 62 acre property which combines the charm of a turn of the century home with all the comforts of modern ammenities. We start with the huge gourmet kitchen, with its heavy duty Viking gas 6 burner range top and stove, large sub zero refrigerator, wooden block island with second sink and granite counter tops. Large windows abound, with breathtaking views of the 30 acres of Pinot noir and Charonnay grapes that grow on this working vineyard. From here either continue out to sit on the back porch which overlooks the glistening lake, lush vineyards and colorful gardens and hills beyond.

Back inside, you can head out of the kitchen and into the dining room and living room which feature hardwood floors and antique furnishings throughout. Three bedrooms are on this level, one with queen bed, one with full sleeper sofa, and one with 2 twins. There are also 2 full bathrooms, one off the kitchen and one off the queen bedroom.

Downstairs is a large rec room with 2 sofas surrounding a large TV with DVD and VHS players. This large room also features a sleeper trundle bed, which can either be made into 2 twins or put together for a king size bed. There is a full bathroom here as well as an office area with stereo system and surround sound speakers for both indoor and outdoor listening. Three sets of French doors lead to the beautiful outside stone patio dining area with gas grill, outdoor shower, and large fire pit, perfect for roasting marshmallows and making s'mores under starry night skies.

Back upstairs and then up one level is the master bedroom suite. There is a king size bed here as well as a large sitting area with 2 sofas and large TV and DVD player. Bookshelves and a large window seat run along one side, where a stereo system with surround sound speakers control music to both the 2nd and 3rd floors. The master suite has a large bathroom with marble shower, and 2 large walk through closets with generous space. Off the master suite is a wonderful private outdoor balcony with sitting area and chaise lounge chairs.

Outdoors, in addition to the stone outdoor dining area, there is a gazebo overlooking the vineyards, multiple garden areas with plenty of fruit trees, fresh vegetables, flowers and lawn areas. A huge oak tree with sitting area graces one side of the home, and a lake with dock provides great fun swimming on warm summer and fall days.

Twin Oak has excellent proximity to the Russian River Resort areas, the ocean, Healdsburg, Sebastopol and other small towns and vineyard appellations. It's a wonderful jumping off point for siteseeing and wine tasting, and only 15 minutes to central Healdsburg.
