An impressive, detached house, in the middle of the small fishing village of Flookburgh, at the core of the Lake District Peninsula, 2 miles from Cartmel. It is over three floors with five bedrooms: 1st floor; 1 x family room with 1 single & 1 kingsize double, 1 x twin, 1 x kingsize double. 2nd floor; 1 x family room with 4 single stacker beds, 1 x single. Bathroom with shower, bath, basin & WC. 2nd floor bathroom with shower, WC & basin. This former fisherman's cottage has been modernised and furnished to a high standard to present a roomy holiday home with comfy sitting room with wood burner, a well appointed kitchen, a rear courtyard boasting table tennis and a beautifully decked area, ideal for al fresco dining. Unwind in Flookburgh's 18th Century pub or follow the Cumbria Coastal Path to enjoy fantastic scenic walks. With historic Cartmel, Grange-over-Sands and the whole of the Lake District within easy reach, this is an exquisite location for a relaxing break, any time of year. Amenities: Full gas central heating throughout, woodburner in sitting room. Gas cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, 2 x colour TVs, DVD, radio/CD.
