A detached, Grade II listed stone cottage, located on a quiet lane only a short walk from the centre of the picturesque village of Winster, 6 miles from Bakewell. Formerly the home of the local cobbler and his workshop, this 2 century old property has been tastefully restored providing comfortable holiday accommodation whilst keeping many of the original features, including exposed beams and a stone fireplace in the dining area. There are two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin, a bathroom with bath with shower over, basin and WC. It has a fitted kitchen with dining area with log effect electric stove and a sitting room. Outside, a tiny patio area with mature climbing plants offers a quiet place in which to relax and unwind. The surrounding area offers numerous walks through some of the most lovely countryside in the Peak District. With the towns of Matlock, Bakewell and Ashbourne all within easy reach, make this an excellent base for touring and exploring the Peak District National Park .
