This is a lovely stone built, terraced cottage located a few minutes walk from the heart of Bakewell. The cottage has been lovingly restored to offer a holiday cottage with immense charm and character. There are two delightful bedrooms: 1 x king-size double, 1 x twin. Bathroom with spa bath, shower cubicle, WC and basin. Fitted kitchen. Dining room. Cosy sitting room with a warming wood-burning stove. South facing courtyard perfect for relaxing and enjoying an evening tipple. The cottage is ideally located to make full advantage of many local walks from the doorstep as well as great golf, rock climbing and pot-holing, along with Bakewell's shops, pubs and restaurants. Set amidst the superb scenery of the Peak District National Park, and with Chatsworth House and Matlock within easy reach, this truly is an ideal romantic base, at any time of the year. Amenities: Full gas fired central heating throughout with additional heating from wood-burning stove in sitting room. Gas cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine (in bathroom), dishwasher, colour TV, DVD player, CD player/cassette/radio etc. Fuel, power and starter pack for wood-burning stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair. Parking permit provided for one car for roadside residential parking, additional parking (free) 50-100 yards from cottage. Small courtyard with furniture and gas BBQ. Two well behaved dogs welcome at 10 per pet. Sorry, no smoking. Shops and pubs 2 min walk
