An attractive semi-detached barn conversion, set on a working farm one mile from Whitby. Offering well equipped and spacious accommodation, this homely property has a feature brick fireplace, beamed ceilings and an original whalebone in the wall! There are four bedrooms: 2 x double, 2 x twin. Bathroom with bath with shower over, WC and basin. Additional ground floor shower room with shower, WC and basin. Fitted kitchen with dining area. Spacious living room with electric 'living flame' fire. The property offers scenic views of the surrounding countryside, and has a little but sunny back garden. Whitby is just down the road, and the lovely beaches of the coastline are within easy reach (not to mention the fishing rights available on the famous salmon river - The Esk) this makes a wonderful destination for the whole family. About the Area: Robin Hood's Bay 6 miles; Scarborough 19 miles; Pickering 20 miles. Situated at the mouth of the River Esk, the ancient fishing port of Whitby is ideal for exploring this stunning part of Yorkshire with its beautiful coastline and the magnificent North York Moors. Whitby is a charming town of character, with winding streets and hidden alleys, has a scenic harbour, secure sandy beaches, notwithstanding the Abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps. Brief Facilities/Highlights: Cot, high chair and stair-gate available on request. Off road parking for 3 cars. Lawned garden with garden furniture.
