It is well equipped and elegantly furnished. Visitors have use of nine acres of formal garden, a wonderful walled garden and a grass tennis court. With scenic riverside walks, local riding, golf and fishing all available, this is an idyllic location in luxurious surroundings. About the Area: Ripon 4 miles. North Stainley is a small Yorkshire village, 4 miles to the north of the Cathedral city of Ripon. The village is perfectly situated for exploring Yorkshire's magnificent countryside, with the Moors and Yorkshire Coast to the east and the Dales to the west. North Stainley has a shop/post office and a pub. The historic and fascinating Cathedral cities of York and Ripon are nearby, as well as the stately homes of Castle Howard and Harewood House, the Cistercian Abbeys of Fountains, Rievaulx and Jervaulx and the castles of Middleham, Bolton and Richmond.
