A wonderful, traditional, stone built former farmhouse set in a peaceful location. Situated a few minutes walk from the heart of the village of Tideswell - one of the oldest settlements in the central Peak District. The property has been fully restored by the owner, and offers quality accommodation with real charm and character and seamlessly combines original features with modern design and home comforts. There are five lovely bedrooms, a free standing oak kitchen with Aga & adjoining utility room and snug. Dining room (seats 10). Spacious sitting room (seats 10) with woodburner. 2nd floor loft with velux window, games area with board games & built-in washing machine. A small patio area, perfect for sitting out. A spacious, enclosed lawned area is just a short stroll away, adjoining a one-acre paddock for dog walking, while the delights and amenities of Tideswell are nearby. Enjoy superb walking in the area or explore the nearby spa town of Buxton. This is a wonderful holiday location Amenities: Full gas central heating, woodburning stove in sitting room. Gas fired Aga, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, 5 x colour TVs (42 flat screen TV in sitting room), video, DVD, CD. Fuel, power & initial supply of logs for woodburner inc. in rent. Bed linen & towels inc. in rent. Cot & highchair on request. Off road parking for 5 cars. Lockable bike storage. Patio with furniture & BBQ, separate enclosed lawned area 25m from cottage, adjoining one-acre paddock for dog walking. 2 well behaved pets welcome. Sorry no smoking. Shops & pubs 4 mins walk.
