A pleasant stone built out-of-the-way south-facing cottage lying in a wonderful, elevated and quiet position below Hucklow Edge, with fantastic views, and just 5 mins walk from Great Hucklow. The well equipped very relaxing accommodation which includes - one double bedroom, ensuite shower room with shower cubicle, WC and hand basin, a comfy living room with fitted kitchen and lounge area with wood burning stove. There is a south facing conservatory with utility area, dining area and wonderful views. NB: The first floor is accessed by a very steep open staircase which makes the property inappropriate for the less able (and large suitcases!) - is approached by a restricted track. The owners stay in the adjoining house and personally welcome visitors. A perfect base for walking and touring in the Peak District National Park. Amenities: Central heating from the woodburning stove in sitting room and additional electric room heaters. Electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, colour TV, video, DVD player, radio etc. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Well behaved pets welcome. Sorry no smoking. Use of garden with wild flower meadow, pond, garden furniture and BBQ. Sunny sitting area with bistro table. Ample off road parking. Good food and real ale at the village pub, 5 minutes walk away and several more good pubs nearby. Full range of shops in Tideswell, 2 miles
