This is a wonderful stone built, mid terrace cottage, located in the heart of the charming village of Austwick. Looking out across the green to the village pub, the former blacksmith's cottage, boasts olde worlde charm and character. There is a quaint sitting room with a warm open fire and a back garden offering excellent views of the limestone countryside, fitted kitchen with dining area and two bedrooms: 1 x kingsize double, 1 x twin (can be made into double on request). The bathroom has bath with shower over, basin and WC. Centrally located in this stunning part of the National Park, this is a perfect location for exploring on foot, with beautiful walks from the doorstep, or by bike, on the many peaceful lanes and footpaths in the area. This is a fabulous holiday location, all year round. About the Area: Settle 5 miles; Skipton 20 miles. Located on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, this is definitely one of the optimum areas for walking in the region. With caves and open moors, and limestone pavements and scars, the area offers a wealth of natural interest and there are superb cycle tracks and walks right on the doorstep. Austwick boasts a local pub which serves outstanding home cooked meals and a country hotel for that something a little more special, and a shop and post office for visitors' daily requirements as well. This peaceful village is nicely off the beaten track, whilst the market towns of Settle, Kirkby Lonsdale, Kendal and Skipton are all within easy driving distance.
