The warm and cosy sitting room with dining area has an open fire, and the fitted kitchen is modern. There are two bedrooms: 1 x double, and 1 x twin with lovely views of Embsay Crag. Shower room with shower cubicle, basin and WC. There is storage space in cellar, which is useful for drying coats/boots etc. The use of a large established garden with bike storage makes this holiday home a perfect base. There is something for everyone, whether you enjoy the traditional village pubs, all serving food, exploring the walks from the door, or visiting the market town of Skipton or the popular Wharfedale villages of Bolton Abbey, Grassington and Burnsall. About the Area: Skipton 1.5 miles This peaceful Dales village is of ancient origin, with a stone circle dating all the way back to the Bronze Age and having been the site of a monastic settlement in the 12th Century. Now it is popular with walkers and steam railway enthusiasts who come to see the magnificent surrounding countryside and the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Steam Railway, with its award-winning authentic station buildings and steam trains. The Old Mill in the heart of the village boasts a coffee shop and a needlecraft centre, whilst all the facilities and attractions of the bustling market town of Skipton are nearby. There are lots of popular places to visit, such as Bolton Abbey, Kilnsey and Grassington making this a perfect location for a wonderful Dales holiday.
