A splendid semi detached Georgian townhouse, near the river in the middle of Kendal. Kentside House, placed over three floors, is extensively modernised to offer large accommodation, furnished and equipped to high standards. Four bedrooms: 1 x double with ensuite (basin,shower, WC), 1 x double with dressing area & ensuite (basin, bath, shower over, WC), 2 x family room with twin & mezzanine double, bathroom, with corner bath, WC, basin. Fitted kitchen, with utility area & breakfast room, dining room, large sitting room with an open fire in feature fireplace. Most original features have been carefully kept, including the original open grate fireplace, buried alcove cupboards, sash windows with shutters, and charming covings and arches, which merge to provide a holiday home of real character and charm. There is a private courtyard to the rear with a sheltered cave, perfect for sitting out, while Kendal's cobbled lanes, with their pavement cafes and excellent restaurants, are close by. Amenities: Full gas central heating, open fire in sitting room. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, colour TV, DVD, library of books/games etc. Fuel, power & initial supply for open fire inc. in rent. Bed linen & towels inc. in rent. Cot & highchair. Enclosed rear courtyard with furniture & BBQ. Small front garden. Roadside parking. 1 well behaved pet welcome. Sorry no smoking.
