This splendid stone built barn conversion is one of a group of magnificent properties, sympathetically converted from superb old stone barns and buildings situated around an idyllic courtyard, only 5 minutes stroll from the wonderful village of Gilling West. The accommodation is all set out on the ground floor and has been decorated, furnished and equipped to a very high standard making a superb holiday base. Much care has been taken to retain the original character and features of the property. There is 1 x double bedroom with four poster bed and ensuite bathroom with shower over bath, WC and basin. Delightful living room with kitchen/dining and sitting area, feature arch window overlooking courtyard. A bedsettee is available if needed. There are two lakes offering fly and coarse fishing, and visitors have the option to hire a private hot tub for use during their stay. The owners live in the farmhouse and provide a warm and friendly welcome to all visitors. About the Area: Richmond 3 miles; Barnard Castle 7 miles. The pretty and tranquil Dales village of Gilling West, winner of the "Yorkshire in Bloom" award, is located in stunning rolling countryside a few miles to the north of the famous market town of Richmond, with a Georgian Theatre and medieval castle overlooking the River Swale. The village has a lovely old church, two pubs serving food and a village post office/shop. There are bridleways and footpaths in every direction and fishing is available nearby.
